Great food, amazing service and a very warm welcome 😊 definitely coming back to enjoy this amazing ambience again😊 another great stop In Maboneng
Beautiful fresh food made with love and care. Cosy interior filled with quirky elements to keep you entertained. The food here has a unique fresh and healthy approach to its preparation. Coffee is excellent and a must if you a coffee addict. Slightly pricey for some but worth it if you looking for good wholesome food :)
Had their chicken mayo sarmie with their Go Green fruit juice. The mayo sarmie lacked mayo and was a bit dry the Fruit juice was fresh but tasted a bit like freshly cut grass. The coffee was amazing and service was really good.
What a fabulous little spot for a chilled Saturday breakfast! We had a seriously delicious bagel with scrambled eggs and tomato. The vibe was fabulous and relaxed, the staff were friendly and gracious and the food was hot and fresh! I would definitely recommend popping by if you are in the area.
I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Best coffee I have had in Johannesburg. The menu is different to the stock standard menus I have seen and the food is great. The service was superb considering they served a group of 8 and the restaurant is quaint. All food was served hot and at the same time. Well worth the money.
Eat Your Heart out is a quaint little café in the heart of the trendy Maboneng precinct. The restaurant itself has a menu inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, as well as some Greek and Israeli breakfasts, salads and light lunches. They also offer an array of freshly made juices.
We decided to take some foreign guests on the Red City Bus tour through Johannesburg and stopped here for lunch. It was well worth the visit. I opted for the Falafel and really enjoyed it. I was expecting the meal to be served inside a pita, but it was served as more of a meze platter. Nevertheless, I wasn't disappointed.
The other members of our group also ordered some fresh juices which they seemed to enjoy.
Service was a little slow but all staff members are extremely friendly. The ladies working in the kitchen were awesome - connecting with just about all the clients with their exuberance and joyful humour.
All in all, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe in this trendy (somewhat hipster) little area of Joburg. Thameenah Vadi
Isn't this just the cutest place?! Spent a late morning here on a Saturday and loved it! Sitting on the sidewalk in such a vibe-y neighbourhood is a treat on its own. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. We all ate breakfast/brunch which was super tasty. I am an avid fan of bacon so it's a must with my breakfast! My heart did sink a little when we saw the menu was kosher but they made the hell of that Macon and in the end I didn't even mind the substitution. The Kitka Toast (egg and Macon option) was delicious and I'll definitely be back for more. Apart from the salmon bagel having an entire salad in it, it was quite good. The fresh juices are a must - I personally recommend the Energy or the Twist but they were all fantastic! Looking forward to coming back and tasting more from the menu.
We visited on a beautiful Saturday after a quick gallery visit. Who knew falafels could get any better. Eat your heart out does it. I had the falafel salad with extra beetroot, going with my beetroot and ginger fresh juice. So bright and brilliant, their staff was attentive but very chilled. A great brunch spot any day o he week

Eat Your Heart Out is extremely helpful and accommodating for people with disabilities - call ahead and they will happily make sure there is an available table on the sidewalk.
