They are no longer Werners Lodge and Bistro. They have been bought out and renamed Cardosos. We went to watch the live band I had the Beef Trinchado. Very nice. Service was good and so was the band😁

The new owner is doing an amazing job 💥 my meal has to be the best calamari I've ever eaten. Looking forward to our next visit.

Its under new management to I think they need a chance to get it where it used to be. Not enough parking though and road access a bit tricky. Food was OK, didnt enjoy snails in crumbs. Will give them a second chance though and they didn't have veal schnitzel - ambience made amazing by live entertainment

Food was good as was the service. Went on a Sunday and the music was pleasant. Food pricing on the high side, the wine prices horrendous. The biggest negative are the benches at the pool, no cushions. Extremely uncomfortable, would have stayed longer but after a couple of hours couldn't handle it anymore. I would suggest the owners get some cushions for older people not so well padded. Otherwise I would suggest one take their own. Will I go again?.....yes but not too oftain.

Old Favorites Executed Superbly Four of us had lunch yesterday. We skipped starters to make sure we had enough room for sweets. Two had oxtail. It was very soft tender and tasty. One spare ribs declared very good and I had the duck which was succulent, not at all fatty and had a lovey crispy skin. We were all very happy to have a plate of vegetables sent to the table on the side. Too many places now do not bother to serve veggies with the mains. Not actually acceptable to skip veggies. Chocolate mousse and apple strudel were decadently delightful. Good coffee and good service completed the deal and we were all very satisfied when we left.
