+3.5
My friend and I came here for a brunch on a Saturday morning around 11 o'clock, just before the Springboks vs New Zealand World Cup group stage match. It was quite busy and the ambiance and mood as a whole was upbeat and there was a lot of excitement. I gave it a 3.5 only based of our service and the food. I understand that with this day in particular, wasn't normal ops. Like I mentioned earlier, the area was packed and obviously service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind at all as we were taking in the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is laid out wonderfully and the location is great. The waitress serving us was very friendly but the food wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. I ordered the south african quesadilla which had chicken, gherkins, rocket and I presume an egg? Well, it was okay. It didn't taste badly but I've had better before. My friend ordered an omelette which was quite delicious so the was the saving grace. I also want to add that my Americano that I ordered tasted different. I must add again that maybe it was the occasion of the day were things were a bit off, and hence I feel that the service and food is much better. I'll definitely come again in the future to give it another go. If you're looking for chilled vibes, then I recommend this place.
My all time favorite restaurant....Never disappoints!
Friendly staff! Good food! Gorgeous Decor! Been here soo many times and I can never say NO to Tasha’s! The food is affordable and generously portioned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tashas is always a great place to go for consistency and quality. I recommend everything on the menu. They been around for a while, I have gotten to taste everything. The service at Melrose Arch is always good.
Came here for birthday celebration, this place has a good atmosphere and is really busy and popular, good service .I had chicken schnitzel sandwich which was really filling.
Seating is comfortable,
Decor is stunning, fresh and clean.
Service is good.
Had schnitzel sandwich and freezochino.
Peanut butter smoothy is not awful but I guess its for body builders .
Food is super yummy.
Good food at a good price.
Thank you!
Great food, great table settings and their pastas are really good! The Savvas Chicken Pasta with linguini or penne pasta is probably the best pasta dish on the menu paired with any glass/bottle of white wine.
Tasha’s Melrose branch deserves a perfect 5 because service, staff courtesy and most importantly for me they had ample Halal steak options. Order was brought to the table in time and attention all the details. One good step forward could be to publicize the Halal options restaurant has.
Had a lovely experience, the location is fabulous. Enjoyed the Heirloom Halloumi was fresh and comforting, a definite winner for me. Service was warm and friendly.
Nice people who serve and just wish when the food comes it could be quicker but the food is nice and location is refreshing especially if you want to be outside on a sunny day
This was not the first time I have eaten at Tashas, but it was the most memorable.
Whenever I think of tashas, I always think of the Turkish Delight cocktail. I don't think you have truly experienced a visit to tashas, until you have had a tashas Turkish Delight cocktail. Sweet, but oh so good. This was my drink of choice.
Because the signature menu of the Melrose Arch Branch was named Bubbly and oysters, we thought it only right to start the night off with some oysters. And they were delicious. Served on a delicate antique tray, they were nice and fresh.
For starters I had the beef tartare. To be honest, this looked like the pre preparations of a pretty mean (uncooked burger) - as if it was on a cooking show and these were all the ingredients. I was a little bit cautious as I have never had beef Tartare. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious. I'd definitely have it again.
For mains I had the lamb cutlets with oregano feta spread, kalamata olives, red onion and rocket served with fries. This tasted like Greece on a plate. I just wish there was more lamb.
For dessert I had the bread and butter pudding. I loved how it was made from croissants and caramelised apples. This was a perfect treat for a cold winters night.
The service was great. The venue was warm and snug. Apparently they are redecorating soon and should now have a larger indoor section. That is great news. I was really surprised to have such a lovely meal at tashas. I assumed light meals and cakes were their thing, but main meals are also a tasty order.
I can't wait to see the new look tashas Melrose Arch.
