I ordered some dulche de leche crepes. It got delivered really quickly and it was well spelled and packaged. It came with some vanilla ice cream. The crepes were really thin and light. Unfortunately, it includes only 2 crepes so the serving is quite small for the price.
The staff are all wonderfully friendly and attentive. The ambience is cosy and is perfect for an intimate night out or a social with friends.

Dined at Matrantonio on a busy Friday night. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. A party of six had the prawn pasta and the prawn risotto. Pasta was divine. The risotto was the best I’ve had outside of Italy. Very rich and decadent so be sure you’re hungry. The prawns were extremely generous and exceptionally well cooked. This may become my new favourite restaurant. Had the profiteroles for dessert. Not overly large after the risotto. The profiteroles were moist and tasty and the chocolate sauce was delicious.
Absolutely delicious food , went for a casual evening our and had their “Panzotti” and it was one of thee best things I’ve ever had, along with their calamari starter! I would highly recommend giving them a try !!
This is a lovely restaurant but it's not glitzy or a follower of fashion. This restaurant is, I humbly suggest, a traditional Italian trattoria. It serves wholesome and correctly cooked Italian dishes. The menu is lengthy and varied, but not adventurous, the dishes are the ones to be found in any good trattoria in Italy. The ambiance was warm, relaxing and unpretentious. It was obvious that many of the customers were long time regulars. The service was sharp and professional. My two guests and I had an excellent evening.
A favorite of mine for many years! The service is top class and the ambience is warm and inviting. My favorites to have are the tortellini aurora, which is served in a deliciously creamy tomato sauce and the sagne pezze with ragu. The quality of the pasta in all the dishes is amazing-really fresh and well cooked. I also enjoy the t bone steak, which is 500g and served medium rare with potatoes and veggies. It’s a good lunch time spot for a quick bite away from work as well as a lovely place to take the family or even on a date!

As the general public continue enjoy eating out at restaurants like never before, there's no shortage of shiny new places to try. Yet sometimes we crave the familiar, the reliable, and the consistently good. And that's where Mastroantonio comes in.
Our party of three dined there on a cold a Wednesday. The welcome was warm and there's nothing like like buzz of contented diners to create an immediate feeling of wellbeing.
Our waitress ran through the specials, as well as some favourites. The owners dropped by to greet one of my dining companions, known to them as a regular customer. It can feel like everyone else is regular here, but it's that kind of place - somewhere people return to again and again. And it's easy to see why.
Starters of Vitello Tonatto and Artichoke Salad were well composed. Mains of calves liver and pasta were excellent. Two bottles of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the great wine list also helped. Mastroantonio is a stable ship on very rough seas. She may not be as new or exciting as some, but she knows just what she's doing.

Both dishes were absolutely incredible! We were both in agreement that it was the most delicious pasta we have ever tasted! The pasta was fresh and soft, and the sauces were smooth, silky and packed full of flavour!!
The staff are all wonderfully friendly and attentive. The ambience is cosy and is perfect for a date night out or a social gathering with friends.

Had the most delicious pasta dinner last night, service was excellent and fast, atmosphere was so pleasant! For two people with wine it wasn't expensive at all, over all super happy with the evening!
