I ordered a chocolate brownie and vanilla ice-cream because the craving hit hard. It arrived really quickly. I warmed the brownie slightly and it was really chocolatey and fudgy. It was pretty good.
CNR Cafe is the sort of restaurant you could have a fancy candle-lit dinner, a casual round of drinks and some snacks with friends or a casual lunch with a colleague. I tried one of their pizzas with apple juice soaked onions, which was so quirky and tasty. I got a new flavor in my mouth every time I took a bite. The rest of my family would definitely agree that their food is really good. My mom thought the cappuccinos were also good. Will be back soon.

A great lunch. I ate the Beef Fillet, ordered rare and served rare and my wife ordered the Rump Egg with pasta and she loved it. The service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the live music.
My first tme at Cnr Cafe and it won't be my last! Outstanding levels of service, from making the reservation to paying the bill. We ordered two vegetarian meals: the Buddha bowl, and the Egg Fried Black Rice bowl. Both meals were beautifully presented, delicious, and good value. We had carrot cake for dessert - even this was above average. A lovely lunch experience.
Everything I could have asked for of a pre-birthday destination with my love. We sat on the terrace, very European feel to it : bustling, lively, noisy without being intrusive. Food was delicious, so many options to choose from, and we had a JHB prepared wine to boot. wait staff were attentive . all in all a great evening. Well be back for a brunch and or a lunch in the near future
Delicious food and great service! Waiters are friendly and well trained. Atmosphere is summery and welcoming. Parking is not great, but worth a visit!
A place with a great meal and atmosphere. There is not good acoustics so very noisy inside. I will definitely visit again. The pricing reasonable.
Cafe is a misnomer, restaurant is so much more in line. I went in with cafe expectation and got surprised! Lovely feels, great service, vegetarian friendly and the food was delish. I'ma have to go back as I missed the specials board !
Another fabulous dinner at CNR Cafe. We had the calamari (super delicious), the butternut and blue cheese pasta (a sure win) and the chickpea Buddha bowl (definitely one I’ll have again)!
