Great spot for breakfast and lunches. Food always great and fabulous staff. As a regular they know my order and the wine comes with ice. Service always with a smile. My best kept secret but to good not to share. 5 stars from me :)
Nice small cozy place, the menu is limited which makes selection quick but obviously this helps as what comes out that kitchen is top notch! Highly recommended!

Another adorable little brunch spot in jozi! The restaurant is really cute and has a very chill atmosphere. The menu has all the usual great brunch and breakfast options and they are presented adorably! I order the delicious flapjacks and they were wonderful! Can't wait to try this place again! The only down side was that it was quite cramped because it was full. The tables felt really close together.
Avi and Dean have really got an awesome vibe going, there food is wonderful, service is awesome. Well worth a try, we will be back!!

When I told people that I was going to Fat Zebra, I was warned that it was under new management and therefore may not be as good as it was earlier.
No problem it was terrific!
I ate sliced rump and a side of green beans. The beef was cooked correctly, as to my wishes and the beans were hot and freshly cooked. My companion's pizza looked good and according to him tasted "excellent".
The service was excellent. Unobtrusive but very helpful when asked.

Such great service the owner will make you feel at home in this restuarant. They have a wide selection of disses including great starters with lots of flavour would also recommend any pasta. Has a wonderful evening atmosphere.
Linden has really come up in the last few years. There are so many hidden gems here, and the one that stands out the most is The Fat Zebra.
We went there for a family dinner, after reading a few reviews. We ordered their pizza for starters, to share, and ended ordering it again for mains! Even though their menu is relatively small, what they do offer is quality.
They could speed up service - we did find that towards the end of the evening, we had to keep trying to get the waiter's attention. Having said that, the staff is polite and chatty and it helps to establish a very friendly-family and personal vibe.
The restaurant is a little small, and we were squished up against the wall and the counter at the back. So I highly recommend booking in advance if you want to get a good table.

Mduduzi our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner gives personal attention to every patron. Definitely deserves a revisit.
Lovely little restaurant in Linden. For starters we had the rib, and potato’s, they were full of flavour and portioned extremely well. Some of the best ribs I have ever had at a restaurant. For mains we had the Creamy mushroom and parmesan pasta and Beef fillet. Both dishes were packed with flavour and prepared amazingly. Book in advance to avoid not getting a spot as it is a relatively small place but dynamite does come in small packages.
