Excellent food, service was a little slow at times (but due to peak times that is to be expected), really nice atmosphere. Old classics could constantly be heard playing over the radio, creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday lunch with family.
I would recommend their burgers as the beef patty is so tasty and grilled to perfection. Their milkshakes are awesome as well. Also, make sure to book a table beforehand. They tend to get busy real fast.
I can't wait to go back sometime again.
Our first time visiting Gisters but definitely not the last. The staff were exceptionality friendly, the service superb and the food delicious. The prices are so affordable and meals are great value for money. Keep up the great work!
Had an Americano with a steak & kidney pie, gravy & salad & everthing was very fresh & delicious. One of the best pies I've had in a ling time. Packed with quality meat & kidney.
The food was great and we were privileged to have a very friendly waitress. The atmosphere made me feel like I am on holiday and I just love all the goodies in the shop. This was now really time and money well spent with my dearest family. I was so surprised to see that they are selling Pabala Private Nature Reserve Gin, try the Prickly Pear Gin!

Such a lovely place to have a nice breakfast or lunch. We liked our breakfast so much that we went for breakfast again the next day. They do have several choices of coffee, like the regular cappuchino but for example flat white as well. I ordered a dish that normally comes with bacon but because I am a vegetarian I asked them to leave out the bacon. They made me some very good baked bananas instead. Love it! There is a shop in the restaurant as well, its very nice as well. You can buy some nice souvenirs over there! And... the stuff is very very friendly!

Breakfast waffle with bacon and banana. Say no more! Gisters really has something for everyone. I have tried the lamb chops with pap on the breakfast menu and the farmers out there would approve. Gisters caters for big groups and the take away section was well supported even at 9am. The also sell uncooked fresh fish and other foods. A real gem in Jeffrey's.
My absolute favorite eatery. This place is a real treat with homemade confectionery and traditional dishes true to our heritage. The best part is the prices. Excellent value for money. This is a get together or family and friends. I just love Gisters!!!
