This is a very popular spot so you might find yourself waiting a bit for a table, and then waiting a bit for your meal to arrive. Outside seating area is pet friendly.

Had an absolute blast dining at Nina's Real Foods. The food is downright delicious and the service, top-notch. We were quite a large party and it was a busy night, so understandably, our food took some time to arrive. However, our thoughtful waiter made up for it by offering us a bottle of wine on the house. Every single person in our party enjoyed their dish to the utmost. The gluten-free pizza was delicious - it was slightly smaller than the regular pizza but was still of substantial size without any additional cost. The star of the dinner had to be the ostrich though! It was incredibly tender yet lean, filled with flavor and served on an espetada along with grilled vegetables - an espetada is a traditional Portuguese vertically hanging skewer used for grilling large chunks of meat. I don't know if they have another name for it in South Africa but it's a clever way of adding flare to a game-y dish like ostrich. The escargot also garnered high praise from those who tried it. As for drinks, they were all well-prepared and flavorful. I personally loved the pomegranate cocktail while others couldn't stop raving about the strawberry mojito - which I found to be on the sweeter side for a mojito after having a taste. And let's not forget about dessert! They had an extensive list that included everything from chocolate mousse to various types of cakes including a delightful gluten-free carrot cake among others. In terms of prices, they were slightly higher than typical South African standards but considering the quality of food and excellent service we received, it felt reasonable. To wrap things up, Nina's Real Foods offers a culinary experience that is well worth your time and money. So if you're looking for great food coupled with wonderful service in comfortable surroundings, this place definitely deserves your consideration!
