Beautiful falls. We were lucky to be there on a sunny day so we could actually see the falls. We had some fun in the immediate area and beautiful trees makes it a worthwhile stop.
Beautiful landscape, fresh air and clean environment. Good tourist attraction for locals and international visitors. Definitely a view worth taking the drive to see
If you have a few minutes, a sight that is well worth pulling off the highway. The location is currently getting a face-lift. You have to park about 200M from the falls. There are curio hawkers if you want a keepsake.
The waterfall is beautiful and worth the visit. The area around is neat and tidy.

It is sad to see this place going backwards and in disrepair everytime we stop over here.
Although we have never had any incidents or heard of any incidents here, it does not particularly feel safe and you should always be alert.
Beyond that the view is incredible and really worth a visit. Take photos with your cellphone, but I would not walk around here with my DSLR to look like a tourist.

Beautiful waterfall with arts and crafts available. Renovations are still underway but still a must see stop in the Midlands. Cute museum located near the falls as well.
An epic view of the waterfall. Charts with history and general information make for an interesting read. Can run a bit dry during the mid year winter and autumn months, but flows bold and beautiful at the beginning and towards the end of the year summer and spring.
It's such a pleasure for me to see how the falls area is clean and safe! I remember walking there from my great granny's house in main street in 1957ish...and my dad taking photos. Black and white, of the beautiful falls. I love the vendors there as well. Very respectful and helpful. I would love to see the Zulu culture more represented there though. Love the art shop selling homemade items at the entrance...fabulous gifts and decor to buy. Well done Howick for this space!

Honestly this place is refreshing, there are maps that shows you the direction and the instructions boards, people that are selling some beautiful art's, hand bands,bags, caps, hand coppers for attraitise...wood stand, skirts even bought one😅...the is also camera men by the falls you don't need to worry about the pictures he will take picture of you if you need them...beautiful falls OMG
