Fabulous coffee shop. At first appears unassuming. Upon entering and sitting down on a beautiful hot kzn day, I was totally blown away by the service and tasty snack meal. Toasted chicken and mayo sandwich was the best I have eaten in 20 years. Ambiance was charming. Setup has been well thought out, From the antique chair mounted as a feature on the far side wall to the beautiful vase of flowers to the clever lighting. Some one seems to be living their dream of " owning "the" coffee shop" most beautiful coffee shop I have visited in aeons!

Rays is under new ownership so I don't have the past experience to compare it with. I have recently been a couple of times, enjoyed every meal and had helpful friendly staff. Very busy during bus arrivals but I feel its good for Howick. Enjoy the new experience�
