I was back in Cape Town with my friends, and I made sure to take them here.
They loved the deep-fried snoek.
Unfortunately, the upstairs deck was closed for renovations, so we didn't get to enjoy the views while eating, but food was still pretty good, and the service was excellent.
The food is good and the views are spectacular. I hadn’t had a gatsby yet so I was eager to try one. I thought I was being smart by ordering a half but the thing was still big enough to feed 2-3 people!
The chips were perfectly cooked and whatever sauce they use is tasty.
Great food! They even had a delicious vegan Burger, the stuff was super friendly and fast and the food was cheap!
Best calamari & lekker slap chips on the harbour overlooking the boats. Perfect view with friendly service and great atmosphere on a perfect wind free day in Hout Bay. Highly recommended ~ good value for excellent quality fish!!
Visited Houtbay about three weeks ago. By far the best fish and chips spot I have ever been too. Everything was so fresh and the portions wwre very decent. The owner is very friendly, as well as his staff.
We had calamari and chips and it was well worth it. They were busy but we didn't wait long and took our food upstairs where you'll experience a great view of the bay

Good local fish and chips. The view from the balcony was great, the food was fresh and tasty, the women working we're lovely.
By far a family favourite for us! We often treat the kids to soft serve and a harbour walk
Delicious food, but what they ate more known for is their varieties of cream soft serve. Been there for many years and shouldn't be given a skip
