Some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted. And the hosts, Debbie and Neil are hands-on, guiding you through the extensive menu. Just voted by Robin, a food blogger (underthetable) as his number 1 Indian restaurant in Cape Town. I agree!

This is a real gem! I am a huge lover of Indian food and frequent restaurants offering this cuisine whenever I can, but never have I experienced anything like the Indian Oven. There is a vast menu, but each dish has a unique flavour and all beautifully presented. Neil and Debbie are the perfect hosts, and their staff extremely efficient and attentive. I eill be back!!

Absolutely amazing experience at the Indian Oven. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and our waiter Prince was so attentive. They even made a bed with pillows and blankets for my toddler when he fell asleep. I would highly recommend! -The prawn curry was to die for!

Best curry I've found in all of Cape Town. TONS of vegetarian options with a note on each page that every single one can be made vegan. Phenomenal. The beans bunny chow is incredible value for money and is a 1/3 loaf for only R80. This is Durban pricing and lends total authenticity to this great business.

Good panneer butter masala but the "mild" option could be more spicy. It wasn't spicy at all to my taste, but I know it depends from each person... Good service too. Easy to find parking space in a Sunday end of the day.

Had the most deliciously rich seafood curry from Indian Oven. The Naan bread was fluffy and easy to eat. Will definitely be back for another meal! Service was also friendly and efficient.

Good food and good service accompanied by good ambiance makes this one a better option to try. Though menu is indian spices are very subtle and managed as per your preference. Definitely try peshawari coconut naan. Thanks. :)

Wonderfully unexpected discovery. I really enjoyed the food options and prep alternatives. Proper Indian cuisine and not just in the name. Friendly staff that and dog friendly outside seating. Yes smokers welcome too lol. Would recommend it for a palette change. Enjoy the spicy options at your own peril

We moved from JHB 2 years ago. We have been 'in search' of an Indian restaurant in C.T. that can replace our favourite one in JHB in respect of food quality and taste. We went far and wide. Well, I'm so very happy to say THIS IS IT! Our new go-to Indian restaurant. We were elated by the quality and taste. We were served by 'Prince'. He really knew his stuff confidently, where my partner wanted vegetarian, and I wanted chicken. We allowed ourselves to be led by his recommendations, and we were 100% vindicated. Sizeable portions, and absolutely delicious. Well done guys. Best Indian in Greater Cape town, and I think we tried them all.

Nice restaurant. New premises has better ambiance. They have increased the number of vegan options substantially since my last visit. Tasty Vegan Aloo mutter Gobi with vegan chapathi. Portions of main dish a little on the small side.

We had a fantastic meal. Stopped at a place down the road and impulsively decided to come here. I had chicken tandoori and paratha. Tandoori was tender and beautifully seasoned. Paratha was light and tasty. Wife had chicken and prawn roti - delicious and tender. Great service from Marshall who was friendly, attentive and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
