I was blown away. OMW it is so beautiful and relaxing. The beauty the creativity it's amazing. The funny little quirks written and hiding in plan sight. If I had more time I would really have loved to spend the whole day.

Found the cutest, quirkiest little farm stall. They literally had everything you could think of and certainly spoke to my artistic side If you are up this way it is worth stopping on The staff are so friendly and there are all sorts of trinkets and books and crannies to explore

Enjoyed the alternative farm style environment. Mixed with coffee shop, farm animals, garden plats for sale to play park for the kids. So there is quite a bit to do. Why a 4 star because if you had to compare to some excellent places like waterfront Cape Town it would get less. So it would be recommended to visit this venue. It was great experience, patience with ordering of food would be recommended but all and all was it great value for money.

My personal score on: *Service - the service here is something different, you order and pay at the front desk and receive a card to put on your table, the difference is that you can sit anywhere you like and the waiter brings it to you. Kind of hide and seek for them all the time, lol. *Atmosphere - The atmosphere is laid back and tranquil, with ducks in the pond. There are many more animals that what looks to me - living a royal life. *Food - The pizza we had "Mojo" was as tasty as I would like a pizza to be, the toppings were generous and lovely. The crust is nice and thin and crispy, just the way I like it. *Cleanliness - The staff looks to be cleaning all the time which makes it a very nice place to be indeed. *Kid friendly - There are lots for the kids to do, play on the jungle gym, look at animals, walk on the paths to look at interesting works of art and plants. GENERAL: I would recommend Plaasmol for anyone travelling passed Hopefield a must see.

A different experience. Great for a travel stop and to take a break. Browse the shops or eat something from the kitchen. Let the children view the animals and the petting zoo.

Die Plaasmol is a very unique and interesting place to visit. There are animals (even zebra) that can be fed (buy the food inside). There are lots of plants that can be bought and jams, desserts, snacks etc. It’s a bit confusing to figure out where is what, but eventually you find it. The food shop staff was not really ecstatic about any clients, they just helped as they came along. The queue became quite long and there was no real urgency to get things going quicker. We ordered some roosterkoek with boerewors and relish. The bar side staff was more friendlier and there was some background music playing. They also had a big screen for sport matches I assume. They serve Sunday lunches, so there might be an option to visit again. Lots of parking available.

This establishment is well worth a visit. Lots of effort have been put into setting up a beautiful nursery centre area. You can buy plants, have a meal, coffee or even something stronger of the liquid beverages. Lots to see for the kiddies in the garden areas and very friendly as well as helpfull staff.

What a wonderful, weird place. Just when you think you have discovered everything, you find another little corner filled with treasured, upcycled trash object d art, Really worth the stop. I can not comment about the food as we did not have a meal

This place is amazing - take your kids, they'll love you forever. Service is a bit slow, but really, it's fine because it's a great spot that you don't really want to rush through. Your children won't want to leave - and if you're a keen gardener... neither will you. Well worth the visit.

I enjoyed this place, it has a wide variety of beautiful plants and animals. There's no fee for entering to see the plants and animals, however there is a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal or drink!
