The moment I walked into Watercrest Mall I knew I was popping into this cozy spot🙋♀️ The cappuccino was delicious, a strong burst of coffee goodness without the slightly bitter aftertaste. Great coffee and some good treats to grab on the go. I tried the white chocolate and cranberry cookies and a huge peanut butter cookie as well. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
Great spot to hang out and serves great coffee as well as add-ons like biscuits and croissants. The service is great and atmosphere is really chilled. Definitely a spot to return to.

One of the best coffee shops I have been to in Durban. The drinks are delicious. I just wish they had a few more unique options on the menu.

This is one of the best place to have a peaceful and quiet time to yourself and also with friends in the morning. A great place to sit and study as well as get some work done on your computer while enjoying an amazing breakfast. Highly recommended.
Nice working space and good coffee. Can get extremely busy midmorning but quite in the afternoon. Lots of other people working so no pressure to be out once you finish your coffee and lots of plug points
Lineage has the best coffee, easily competing on an international level with Kgune, SA Barista champ, working there. The food is also made with carefully sourced, delicious artisanal ingredients - Love the Avo & bacon on rye. Craig, the owner, has won numerous awards for Lineage and its outstanding coffee. It's my second office and second home - once you get to know the baristas & other loyal customers you'll be part of the Lineage family. It's a great place to work (unlike other coffee shops, Lineage is happy to let you work there for hours) and you'll be in the central meeting point for Hillcrest - the number of important meetings that go down there...! Lineage is an authentic, loved, local gem, I couldn't imagine Durban without it and will always support the amazing coffee & community culture they're cultivating.
I found a hidden gem today when in the area. As I walked in I was greeted with a warm smell of freshly roasted coffee, and even warmer smiles on the staff.
The coffee is masterfully brewed by the barrister and rates in my top 5.
The light snack menu is a decadant and truly worth every cent.
I was able to enjoy their FREE wifi and get some work done before heading back to Ballito.

We were in KZN for the Easter weekend and I was excited to make a pilgrimage to Lineage.
We were not disappointed.
The space is awesome, it's a gear-heads dream... Plenty of fantastic gear to salivate over and dream of owning one day (that single group Strada 😍)
The chocolate cake is some of the best I've ever had and I couldn't recommend it more.
I would've loved to see 2 (or more coffees) available in store, but the blend on offer was tasty (I still maintain 1 of those beans is a natural 😋) and the milk treatment on my flat white was spot on.
Picked up some beans from the store and really enjoyed the experience.
An awesome spot and a MUST VISIT for any coffee lover visiting KZN!
