It's my daughter's favorite take away place. The food is great and fresh. Compliments to the chef. The staff is really helpful and very friendly. I've had their food often and was never disappointed.

Stumbled into this place for an early dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised!

The decor is similar to the other Simply Asia branches: full of pops of colour and quirky murals. This one is a good size - spacious enough to seat a good amount of customers and big enough to avoid feeling cramped. It's clean, well-kept and situated along Main Road near one of the trails.

This branch has everything from thai dishes to dim sum to sushi! My sister and I tried the sushi and were really impressed. If I had to nitpick I'd want the avocado to be softer. I'd highly recommend the salmon hot rock - very generous amount of salmon and with a slight kick of spice on top! We both loved the Philadelphia roll with smoked salmon and cream cheese. My sister raved about her tempura prawns with the crunchy batter and said the prawn was cooked really well. The others at the table enjoyed their noodle dishes (623 - yellow curry and 625 - curry noodles). The aromatic spices wafted in the air as soon as the bowls were put on the table. We also shared the 116 dimsum combo starter. I liked that the waiter warned us beforehand that it would take 20 minutes because it's made to order. We shared the portion of 4 just to try. I liked the prawn one especially and thought that the meat was flavoured well. On a random side note, I also liked how ice cold the drinks glasses were.

Service was very good! We had a bit of difficulty getting our waiters attention toward the end though. But one of the chefs personally came to our table to take our order and she was very accommodating so bonus points for that!

Definitely try this branch if you get the chance!

Very good service and great food. Great for all kinds of people as there is a large menu with vegetarian options and different levels of spiciness - or no chilli at all. The menu covers Thai food, curries and stir frys with rice and noodle dishes. Waiters are very attentive and friendly. Prices are good; R70 - R80 for a meal, with rice or noodles included. Definitely recommended.

The food is good and the quantities also ok. There is no real ambiance, but it's not too cold.... Just one point, there was one real negative. One diner asked for some sweet chilli sauce to add to the dish. A tiny saucer was brought to table and an extra R10 was added to the bill. Not cool!

Great food but not the best atmosphere. More Spur like as one can expect from franchises. I guess difficult to attain an authentic Thai experience when your staff are all South African

A true sense of Eastern cuisine set in a tranquil atmosphere with soft Asian music, whilst enjoying a most excellent meal prepared professionally and taking care that it is of the best quality. My lovely wife and I has our most pleasant, intermit and special moments at Simply Asia in Hermanus. The staff are very friendly and helpful and well trained as we have seen, few and far between. We recommend Simply Asia to any and everyone.
