The Col'Cacchio franchise is pretty consistent with providing quality pizzas. We ordered ahead of time to pick up a garlic pizza and a large butter chicken pizza ('The Moghul'). The latter is a firm favourite because the flavours work really well together and there's just the right amount of spice. Both pizzas had a lovely thin crispy base which I love! The order was ready after 15 minutes as we were told so speedy service is plus. The staff are super friendly and very chatty - they get along great with each other and with customers. I wish they packed in extra serviettes for us to takeaway too but that's not a train smash.

Really cool place, looked after the kids and the food was top notch. Friendly service and nice vibe on what was a pretty dismal Monday night, blowing a gale outside and many places appeared closed but this place was inviting and warm!

"Apr 29 dinner: We saw this outlet while having lunch at Simply Asia. It was quite cold outside but it was quite cosy inside. Placing our order took a bit longer as there was no one even looking at our table - the place was almost full that night.

We ordered for a veggie pizza and pasta. We really like their pizzas and pastas having eaten at their outlets in Johannesburg. The taste was the same and we liked it. Among desserts, we had the chocolate panna cotta and tiramisu - both were yummy. The service apart from the intial period, was nice and warm.

During our meal, we got to interact with the owners of the place - they had an Indian connect and it was nice interacting with them in Hermanus."

Stayed at hermanus for the long weekend and after a successful string of home cooked meals the convenience of Col' Cacchio was calling our names!!!

Friendly and effcient service greated us as we places our orders for take - away.

Top tip: head across the road for a quick drink at the marine whilst you wait for your pizzas to get ready.

I got the pizza with caramelised onions and sundried tomato (forgot the name) but it was great. Camamelised onions give a really nice sweet taste to an otherwise very savoury dish.

Another top tip: take the pizzas you've just collected and walk along the nearby rock path and enjoy your pizza wholst watching the waves!

Pizzas were excellent - toppings were very fresh allowing the natural flavours and tastes to combine wonderfully. The service was even better! A very pleasant lunch in an awesome location.
