Very nice place overlooking the ocean. I had the gluten-free toasted sandwich with cheese, tomoto and basil pesto. Was tasty.

Delicious beyond compare. With a view of Whales playing about and the lovely sea air. Friendly and prompt service. Making the visit so Hermanus worth it.

I love just pure. I’ve been eating their amazing chicken salad since I was a little boy - would definitely recommend. Their breakfasts are also very good. I love the eggs benedict (I add bacon which makes it even more delicious). Just pure has a breathtaking view of the ocean. Their prices are also quite good. I would definitely recommend popping in at the gift shop to treat yourself or a buy a last minute gift.

Our second day having breakfast here and cannot find fault on both occasions. A very good breakfast menu. The omelette is the best ever and French toast also perfect. Expect a bit of waiting time but well worth it. Very clean and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Great bistro with excellent food. How hard is to make a fry egg? They managed to make it "Perfect". The breakfast was superb, great mushrooms, fry tomatoes and sausage. The bacon was good, perhaps not as crunchy as I like, but excellent nevertheless. Down size ? The coffee. The cappuccino was a coffee with milk, nothing close to a cappuccino l. The coffee was weak. Prices are in the higher-end, but the service, quality of food and view (just infront of the whale coast) justify it. Recommended.

I have often stopped there for light breakfast or just a good coffee or latte. It's always great quality, value, atmosphere and vibe. Beautiful location with a stunning view and good service. Always a winner.

Food was fresh and tasty. Service a little slow. Prices are high for a local, but the quality of the food and the view makes up for it. Gift shop is a nice bonus.

Quality food and generous portions is their claim… and they’re true to their promise! The sourdough rye is superb. Breakfast seems to be effortlessly served within 10 minutes of ordering, served on hot plates and by friendly staff. It’s a bonus to be overlooking the ocean!!

This place turned out to be the perfect breakfast place for us. Huge variety of food and freshly pressed juices. The staff were fantastic. Located on marine drive with fab views of the bay. Definitely worth a visit. The owner was a lovely lady with a wealth of information on where to visit in surrounding towns, the whales common to the area, how to get a taxi. She was brilliant!

Amazing eggs on toast. Good croissant au beurre (according to a French) The location is perfect if you want to see whales while having breakfast/lunch. Remember to take your binoculars ;)

Breakfasts nice and hot. Even my picky son cleaned his plate. Amazed by how they deliver that good service in such a tight space and with few staff

You won't find better lunch in Hermanus and surrounds. The freshest of ingredients is used to make the most delicious food. The service is excellent and space cosy and beautiful. Can't recommend this place enough!

A very beautiful gem. I really enjoyed my meal; tasty and fresh. I even spotted a whale while having my meal which was a cherry on top 😊 I had to bring my partner a take away and he loved his chicken burger. The staff was friendly. Thank you for the lovely service.

Friendly bistro that has a warm European feel. Organic, seasonal and free range. They cater for all dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan. Food with integrity - oh, and an amazing view.

A place to just let go and be. Ally & I had perfect brunch in Hermanus at @justpurebistro where we once again experienced a sighting of the end of another rainbow. Nothing beats lunch with a view!! Such a great vibe. Can't wait to come back. The coffee and chia latte were out of this world! The cafe mocha was hands down the best I've ever had! Warm roast vegetable salad! Oh my goodness, who would have thought! AMAZING 🤌🏻

What I like about this place is that everything on the menu is super healthy. From superfood lattes to gluten free granola to cayenne pepper on the tables.<br/>It is such a quaint little restaurant ot almost feel like sitting in a café in a different country.<br/>

Lovely breakfast spot overlooking the beach front with it's quirky but quaint Victorian style decor. <br/>A vast menu with so many options, it's hard to decide. <br/>I eventually decided on the classic breakfast and it was great! <br/>The sour dough rye with the home style orange marmalade was superb and my cappuccino was fabulous. Friendly staff all round. Prices are slightly more than average.<br/>Will be sure to stop by again.

Stopped on the way home to Cape Town from Stanford. A lovely seaside spot. With different options as well as gluten-free. Boudoir has some nice natural products to buy and explore. Lovely breakfast!

More like Just Poor. The menu is ok and the view is fantastic but terribly slow service and a manager with a bad attitude let it down - have been three times and never had a good experience

Very unwelcoming person behind the till.. Felt like we were inconveniencing them by being here.. Dissapointed.. previously had lovely experience.. I will be hesitant to come back..

Watching whales playing in the ocean while having breakfast. <br/>Salmon eggs Benedict was fair not the best I have tasted I prefer the hollandaise sauce to be warm. The salmon however was super fresh and tasty. Being a coffee snob this coffee rated right up there.

My best breakfast spot in Hermanus. The best views, delicious food and great service. I ordered scrambled eggs with sourdough and a size of bacon (obviously). The scrambled eggs were so creamy, just how I like them! My mom got the full breakfast and was raving over it. Always my fav place!

A total gem in Hermanus, wonderful eggs Benedict, a delicious French toast breakfast too - great coffee, good service, superb view outside on the balcony. Lovely shop inside too! A fantastic breakfast place in Hermanus, will most definitely be back!!

I have traveled to most places in the world and I have eaten breakfast and many many restaurants but this was the most incredible breakfast I have EVER had. I guess it's the simple things in life!! I had the Bistro Breakfast and it was so tasty and well presented. The cheesecake and chocolate Banting cheesecake are also phenomenal !

This is my favorite place to visit while in Hermanus. Food is delicious, staff friendly and they make a great cappuccino. Has possibly the best view in the town as far as restaurants go too. Also has a beautiful little shop inside with stunning goodies. A must visit!!

Hermanus for the long weekend and working my way through l the hidden gems this town has to offer. Needless to say we came twice in one weekend! Thats how awesome this little place is!<br/><br/>The first time was for lunch and I had little expectations. The shop is very quaint and we had to wait 5 minutes for table. Service seemes friendly but fairly lackadaisical. However tried the pesto, tomato and mozerrela open sandwidch and it was really great. What was absolutlet phenomenal is their free range chicken toasted sandwidch which I managed to taste.<br/><br/>The next time we came here was for breakfast on the way out. Ordered my usual eggs benedict but put bacon on the back seat for a change and tried it with salmon rather. Was a really decent eggs bennie of similair standard to breakfast giants in CT such as starlings, four and twenty etc...

Great cafe, well worth skipping the popular other Hermanus beach-front spots to grab a table here. Delicious food, healthy and comforting. Yummy desserts, great wines and super friendly staff. Our fav lunch spot!

Beautiful view! Excellent cappuchinno. The banting burger was very tasty. The quiche was also delicious. The croissant was good but no apricot jam. Definately a place you should visit!!

Today I went to Just Pure Bistro.The people is very friendly.And the view is beautiful.I had the croissant.It was lovely.And I hope my family enjoyed it to.See you next time.

A very cute little bistro with a lovely ocean view. They take banti g seriously here but I went for the eggs benedict. The hollandaise was some of the best I've ever tasted.

We just dropped in for a quick coffe and were not disappointed. Good service, hot strong coffee and a wonderful view out on the sea and horizon :)

Great location,great view. Really good food and cappuccino very interesting menu but the service is really Slllllloooooow. If you have alot of time on your hands this is the place to be.

Banting Burger was the product of attentive quality and personal attention. Vibey and full over holiday time. Good coffee! Definately worth the visit.

Our favourite stop in Hermanus. Had the mushroom soup and the Banting quiche. Both are delicious. Organic chicken salad also looks great. Oh my they have a banting chocolate cheesecake! Wow.

Don't go to this restaurant if it is near closing time. We got there at 14:45 and they close at 3pm.  We were reminded 6 times in the space of 5 min to order our food as the kitchen was closing. Rather then say you cannot accommodate us as the kitchen is closed.  We found the owner/manager very rude and unfriendly. When we wanted to order coffee, the machine was already switched off.  This was overall a bad experience for us.

Very rich and decedent salmon and cream cheese omelette at this place is a real breakfast treat. The views over-looking the ocean are stunning. They serve lovely fresh, local and organic food, as well as great coffee. Stunning French-style decor gives this place a lovely vibe. A highly recommended breakfast spot to go to when you visit Hermanus.<br/>On another occasion we came here for lunch. We enjoyed the prawn and avo salad, and the bunless burger. Both were very delicious!

Just pure bistro is situated in Hermanus which overlooks the ocean! <br/><br/>The interior has a Parisian feel to it , and it is intimate and cosy ! So it was perfect for yesterday's wintery weather!<br/><br/>I had the hake fish cakes which came with rustic wedges and a side salad ! It was delicious and very diverse in taste !<br/><br/>My husband had the Banting burger and he could stop commenting on how amazing it was ! <br/><br/>We ended off our lunch with a berry bake cheese cake and my oh my was it out of this world ! I have never tasted anything more beautiful in my whole life ! <br/><br/>We had our nearly two year old son with us , and he sat comfy in his kid chair and munched on chicken strips and chips which was on the kids menu!<br/><br/>Can't wait to go back, if not for the whales then definitely for this restaurant ! <br/>

FOOD <br/>Every time I eat here the food is delicious. For breakfast I would suggest the french toast with berry compote and mascarpone cream or the banting breakfast which is an alternative take on eggs benedict with the english muffin being replaced with a zucchini rosti.<br/><br/>SERVICEWaiters are friendly but they could be more attentive.<br/><br/>AMBIANCE<br/>The view of the ocean is incredible. One not to miss. Plus, the bistro is linked to the Just Pure shop so after your meal you can browse through a few beauty products, art and other goodies.
