We went on a Tuesday and we were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. We found out that reservation are a must for this place. Even on a Tuesday, OAK got busy. The hostest was nice and allowed us to get a bar seat. Signature drinks were awesome and the bartenders were on their game. Very friendly staff and they took the time to explain some of the drinks in more detail. They know their stuff and have an abundance of interesting cocktails. Appetizers were delish and not what you normally expect as apps.. It was early, so pizza was pretty much it. At $25 for 2 craft pizzas, it is well worth it. Including food and 4 drinks, we hit just about $100 with tip. Definitly a place for a date night, friend meet or a family time out.

The wood grilled mushrooms were delicious. Who knew you could get food this good in Hanover, PA?

Stopped in for a nice bite. I didn't realize Tuesday was pizza night. It was a good pizza cooked in a wood fire oven. Price reflects a place that's a little more upscale. Was good pizza.

A big city high end restaurant in a small town. When you walk through the doors of Oak you're transported to a place of out of this world food, drinks that rival NYC's top bars and service that can't be beat. The picture you see is Halibut in Crazy Water and let me tell you, it's one of the best pieces of fish I have ever eaten. The bartenders are some of the best in the, imo, region. Pricing is a bit higher than the norm in the area but on par with the level of food and service you get. If you're ever in Hanover this is a must stop, but be sure to make reservations or you likely won't get in.

Hanovers Slice of heaven has arrived! It just keeps getting better! The flavor profiles used in each craft cocktail is well thought out and compliments the menu. Service is attentive and atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. Restaurant is clean and easy to navigate. Excited to see and taste all new menu items!

We enjoyed an excellent meal and hospitality on a quiet Tuesday night at Oak. The food was Italian inspired and creative. We had four starters, and all were winners. The marinated olives were especially good with the mix of herbs and spices we could not identify, but which were delicious. the crispy calamari were done just right, lightly battered and crispy. This Sicilian salad was delicious with a mix of arugula, orange slices and other salad ingredients. The tuna stuffed peppers were very tasty as well. We also enjoyed two pizzas which were well cooked in the wood, fire oven, which we were informed by the friendly owner, was imported from Italy. The wine list is short, but well selected, and we enjoyed an excellent bottle of Lyric Pinot noir and appreciated the high-quality stemware into which it was served. Our server was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a conversation with one of the owners which was very informative. The restaurant is located in a century plus old building in the center of Hanover. The building was most recently a furniture store. The original word fours and 10 ceiling remain along with exposed brick work. An excellent restoration job. There is a nice bar upfront. Prices are moderate for the quality. I highly recommend Oak and look forward to returning.

Great location in downtown Hanover... incredible wood fired pizza and small plates to share among friends. Seasonal craft cocktails compliment the menu.
