The first time we went to Searles the food was SERIOUSLY outstanding. Best chicken schnitzel I'd ever had. In returning the second time I ordered a schnitzel again.... only to be disappointed. The cut of meat was grainy and it just didn't have to same texture, crispiness or flavor. The service was good on both occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good value for money. The biggest downfall for me was the live music. On both occasions the music was so loud u couldn't have a conversation with the people we were with. It really spoilt the evening. The area is so confined for such loud music. Music is great to have but why blast the guests away with blaring music. The venue and decor is interesting and I love the open fire places.
