A great find - authentic Portuguese flavours brilliantly prepared. We were pleasantly surprised. Best prawns my wife has tasted in years. Great sardines, burgers.

We visited Canimambo for the 2nd time. Nice atmosphere and a great variety of Portuguese food. Last time it was warm whether and we enjoyed the fireplace outside, this time it was raining and the wood was now burning in a fireplace inside. The fish platter was very tasty, which we enjoyed with a nice bottle of Sauvignon blanc. The vegetarian lasagne was a bit too greasy. Deserts were great!

Popped in for a light meal. Apparently you have to make reservations if want a good table, else sit outside ( very cold )
Yet food was very nice. Reservations for tourism isn't very convenient thing to do though

Service is impeccable. Definitely try the chicken livers for starters as well the chorizo. For mains, the prawns are authentic and fresh and the mussels are to die for. The chocolate mouse is the best ever, a must have.

This place is a wonderful stop over if you're staying in graskop. The portions are huge and the food is delicious! We shared the chicken livers, they were incredible! So tasty! I have never had such amazing livers ever! For main we both has the quarter chicken, very well seasoned and tasty!

Jan 7 lunch: This seemed to be the best place for lunch in Graskop and we really liked the food here. The ambience is quite nice with wooden interiors. The food is a bit on the spicier side but as Indians we liked it. For veggies, have the Veg Bean stew. Do have the desserts - the choco mousse was really good. Even the mint brownie was good. The service was attentive. A nice place to visit when in Graskop.

I enjoyed my time. Ambience is real different from JHB where I reside. The Portuguese and Mozambican tang to the food is quite special.
Waitrons are super-friendly and I would do that again in a heartbeat. Definitely am
Going to make a turn there again and thanks everyone there for everything

Love this place! From starters to desserts to drinks, everything was delicious! The staff were very attentive and welcoming! If you pass by on Sundays, they might also have African drums entertainment. You might want to book ahead because this place can be packed.

The most flavourful food in Graskop! If you love authentic Mozambican / Portuguese food then you will enjoy this spot. The owners are hospitable and very friendly. They have the best home made peri peri and pesto sauces. Their freshly baked bread was the bomb! Try out their ring stinger burger and the grilled peri chicken! We didnt get any pictures of the food as we devoured it when it arrived. The restaurant set up is open and relaxed with vibe music - it sure felt like we were in Mozambique once again! Thank you for the awesome experience!

Service was a little slow, however, the food was amazing 👏🏼 the chicken was perfectly cooked and their bread starter was warm and freshly baked.. definitely must stop there for a meal!!

I honestly love this place. I was in Graskop for the weekend and when I got there I ate here and I was hooked. My whole stay I was eating from Canimambo, their Grilles Chicken burger got me hooked!! Complements to the Chef!

The rumpsteak and eggs was quite a pleasant combination and worked perfectly. The Prego was also very tasteful, my wife enjoyed it a lot. The staff was quick and friendly. Almost had the 5 stars, however the "Long island" is mixed with Coke instead of Iced tea , hence the name "Long Island Iced tea". Still had a pretty good experience and would gladly visit there again.
