Awesome food,and epic people. It was really worth the visit!! I fully recommend the garden shed, to each and every couple or family wanting a delicious home cooked meal away from home.

After a long day at work... I go to the garden shed... The staff is so welcoming and friendly... Fast service and the most amazing authentic dishes... Their food is a must.. It's always Fresh... From pizza to pasta then I'm not even talking about all their flame grills... I'm in love <3... U will not make an mistake eating at the Garden Shed...

Cute restaurant with good food. Service was very friendly.
We ordered the focaccia for starters, which was a little dry (6/10).
For the main we had the vegetable garden curry in mild (8/10) and the 3 cheese pizza (8/10) fresh from the wood oven. For dessert we had the cookies & cream (5/10) and the Salted Caramel milkshake (6/10) plus the malva cake (8/10).
Would recommend coming here overall:)

Great place to stop and enjoy a wonderful dinner. Al dishes were very tasty, specially the cocodrile one. Nice atmosphere and warm service.

Great place for classic South African fare straight off the grill, including Ostrich, Crocodile kebabs and even Zebra. The service from Tando was quick and with a smile! The location is a nice sunny garden with flowers and wild birds. A great pit stop for lunch between the panorama route and back to Jo’burg.

First restaurant in South Africa and we really enjoyed it! Original recipes with the local game that are delicious; ostrich and crocodile!
The wine house (we took the white and the red) were more than decent and the banana baked ice cream with butter was super good.
Cosy decoration that resolves around several fire places... We left full and at peace ✌️

We had a group of 9, and it took maybe 45 min to get our food. They are cooking it outside on the grill and it smells wonderful! If you are looking for faster food go to McDonald’s. The atmosphere is relaxing. Server was very kind. We tried ostrich, crocodile, and zebra. They were all cooked really well. Main dish was Grilled chicken. Loved it. Highly recommend if you are passing thru!

Amazing Mix of Local and Traditional Foods
Danny K was an incredible host at this nice lunch location. Food was amazing with the right mix of spicy and traditional for us.
We had the ostrich and zebra fillet oth were exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area for a mix of local and traditional done well.

We would recommend going there 100% and if we ever have the chance to eat there again we’ll definitely do so!

Our panorama route guide took us to this amazing game meat restaurant where everything was just perfectly cooked and savory ! This place really is a gem and was by far our best south african food experience during our stay ! Would 100% recommend :-)

Arrived here by a recommendation from our host.
It was a walking distance from the place we were staying at and it was safe to walk there.
The place itself is really beautiful, both the outdoor garden and the interior.
They have a restaurant and a pub to choose from.
We sat indoors in the restaurant and it was such a great experience!
The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and the overall experience was exceptional.
We were the only people that evening which surprised me but it was like a private event so we only gained :)

We came on Monday for a lunch. The menu looked good, but anything we asked - they were out. They had a lot of people over the weekend and owner went to town to buy ingredients. That said, what we ended up ordering - was excellent. We had chicken and veggie curry, beef Potjie and t-bone steak. For appetizer - peri-peri chicken liver. One of the best chicken liver preparations we ever had.
