Love grille shack, more than worth the short drive outside gordons bay, scenic views all around and the place itself is beautifully decorated with vintage car memoribillia

Had a fun afternoon after a lekker drove down the coast, a perfect sunny day with lovely company and food. The service was on point and Josuo was an amazing server very professional and attentive. A great for families and afternoon lunches.
We loved it here. He have been a few times and it is always very pleasant. The indoor children's area was closed and they opened it especially for my daughter. The service is good, the food is GREAT. We will be back. They are OPEN after the big storms!
This is a real gem! Great food, service and atmosphere! Burning fires in winter, Great indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids. Staff are friendly and helpful.Will definitely be back.
Incredibly unique restaurant on the brink of Gordon’s Bay, along Clarence Drive. The restaurant features theme which is distinct at first glass from the outside, while continuing through the restaurants interior decor.
They offer extensive seating areas both indoors and outdoors, making it family friendly with children’s play areas along the lawns.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I only stopped for coffee and didn’t get a chance to try their meals however I am certain I will not be disappointed. Highly recommend for anyone as a “pitstop” to your journey along the coast.
Interesting eatery that is tucked away behind eucalypt trees, just off Clarence drive next to the Steenbras river Bridge. It is solar dependent and eco conscious. Read about all its endevours on the very informative menu. For years I have driven past this place thinking it was some sort of camping venue. How wrong could I be!

This is such a relaxed place to have a little stop over on one of the most scenic drives in South Africa. The Grille Shack is just 5km out of Gordons Bay and. a beautiful spot to take a break along the road and admire a 50s style dining experience.
The restaurant is full of vintage cars, a James Bond miniature car collection, old scales and lots of things to discover.
The kids can play on the lawn or enjoy a little play area with balancing boards, rocking horses, trampolines and play tractors.
The menu was huge and there's many choices for every taste. We enjoyed a delicious burger and nachos along with milkshakes and cool drinks.
It's a super family-friendly place and you can also bring along your furry friends if they are well-behaved.
Awesome! What an amazing gem of a restaurant and bar. Finally this side of the world has got a funky, quirky road shop. Decor, Vibe, service and food was excellent. These guys have done a super job with their decor and menu too. I stopped over briefly and only had time to try their chilli poppers. They were massive and came with a mayonnaise sauce which had some chives inside. Absolutely delicious and a great side sauce for the poppers which had cream cheese inside.. I cant wait to visit again and next time I'm bringing family and friends with to enjoy this awesome venue and definitely to try more of their menu. Love this place!
