The tastiest food ever! The view is perfect and the service outstanding. We had a great time here.

Delicious seafood platter and beer! Seafood wasn’t anything to necessarily rave about but this was just what we needed at 8pm.
The food was tasty, but there were a couple of little issues. For instance, the breading on some of the calamari I ordered was burnt. The service was good, but a little slow. There was only one waitress serving all the tables. She did a great job, but it took a while to get our orders in and get our food.
They have a local beer that they brew in Mossel Bay that I would recommend.
On a stormy winters day we found that most Gansbaai eateries looked unappealing. Based on some positive online reviews and a craving for seafood we visited Tolbos bistro and were pleasantly surprised. The kiddies play area is set against a harbour view backdrop in a well tended garden and is utterly charming with a homemade fire engine that the kids loved.
Our waiter was attentive and accommodating. We tried the seafood platter and were especially impressed with the mussels and massive prawns. The fish batter lacked some salt but overall it was an enjoyable meal and a great find with kids.

Wow - what a nice place with friendly service and cozy setting. The owner and the staff went out of their way to treat us like kings. The service is prompt and although we had to wait a bit longer than usual for our meal, it was well worth the wait. It was the best pork belly I had in a long time. Thanks guys, keep it up !

Tolbos Bistro😋😋😋😋😋 the ribs are amazing, we booked for new year's Eve dinner as well. There's a waitress(forgot her name) but she's apparently 18yrs old our Host at Walker bay Accommodation knows her, she is the sweetest waitress ever!
The bistro have a chilled vibe, for a couple and families. Love it!
