Imperial Garden - Fish Hoek - Photo album

We had a delicious mutton Bunny Chow and a nice sampler plate of samosas. A real feast for an extremely fair price. The carrot sambal complimented the Bunny chow perfectly with a nice Chile pop from the fiery red chilies. We weren't able to get to Durban, but we feel like this was like visiting a li
I've eaten here 3 times (all take-aways). Tonight was a disappointment. The jack fruit curry was very tasty (though very oily and we know restaurants don't exactly spend money on good healthy oil) but the container was only a third full which meant the rice was dry and I didn't feel like I got value
Indian coming from the US, and first time trying bunny chow. Delicious vegan version with beans 😋. The owners were also super accommodating, and nice to talk to while waiting for the dish to be freshly made. Definitely want to come back and try rotis and curry.
Reminded me of a homely Durban Restaurant. The aroma of a rich quality curry as well entered. Food was great and the staff was very friendly. This is the place for great quality food. I also enjoyed the Masala Tea as a digestive after a hugely satisfying lunch.
What an amazing dinner we had tonight. Thank you for your hospitality and fabulous authentic curries! The portions were large and our tummies are full with leftovers for tomorrow. The lamb bunny chow is an absolute must! Thank you Vash for making us feel at home xxx
Authentic Durban curries and sweets (hard to find in Cape Town!) and a fully licensed bar, with warm and attentive service. The mutton/lamb biryani is delectable.
Amazing authentic experience. As a Durbanite who has recently moved to CPT ,i can say that this place offers True Durban curry and delicious sweet meats. Amazing experience. Thank You Thank You 🙏
A lamb/mutton bunny chow is one of those Authentic Durban dishes that takes generations after generations to perfect and I'm so pleased to Officially place Imperial Gardens as the Best Bunny Chow In Cape Town. Absolutely delicious, the colour of curry, soft lamb and gravy filled 1/4 bread that bite
To all the people who appreciate good home cooked Indian dishes Imperial Gardens is the place to visit if you are in Fish Hoek An awesome Diwali celebration took place on 5th and 6th of November 2021 Desigan and Vash hosted their 4th consecutive Diwali Bhangra celebration It was a weekend well spent
Probably the best place to try "authentic " Durban curry without going to Durban. Located on mainroad just as you enter Fishoek. Not the finest decor but let the food speak, friendly staff at your service. FYI they do buffet evenings on Friday, R120 all you can eat, but book in advance
Unable to get to Durban, we called in here daytime to try the Bunny Chow. Excellent experience in every way, and I wouldn't hesitate to return here, next time I'm in this part of South Africa. Highly recommended!
If you want the most delicious and authentic Durban curry - look no further. We drove from Blouberg to Fishhoek because nothing else compares. The food is delicious and the owners treat you as a member of the family. Wonderful experience. We’ve never been disappointed.
Great people. A small shop with a big heart. Oh my the food I had was absolutely amazing. They promised and they delivered. Go check them out. I will be back next time I am in CPT!

My first time having a bunny chow and oh my! The best lamb bunny I will ever chow! Thank you aunty for your hospitality, the warmth, loving, homely vibe! I can't wait to bring all my friends :)
The best authentic Indian food in the whole of Cape Town. I have never been in a place with such accommodating service and high quality food. I would recommend over and over again.
What a win! Great food and service. Only had a take away. Got invited to their Dewali festival aswell. So exciting!
Had a lovely Diwali celebration with these folks last night: fabulous, authentic Durban curry served buffet style in their cozy main road restaurant. Thanks for a memorable night!
Authentic food great flavor and yummy! Hole in the wall but worth your time to stop by! Seems the owners sister was so nice too!
