Top class setting with a magnificent view of Fish Hoek . This restaurant has a wide range of food on its menu which can be eaten in the budget section and the more exclusive section of the restaurant or outside , - Its specialty is darbun curry ,bunny chow ,chinese , indian rotis and seafood of course. The foods is consistently good !!!

13 of us just got home from a brilliant buffet. The staff were so good, efficient, frindly and made us feel really welcome. Thank you so much for the great evening !
The best sushi, soup and cashew chicken in years. Can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone . So flavorful and the service was excellent. Staff the friendliest in the south!
Fantastic service and amazing tasty food! Good value for money too. Will definately go back! Was a great find :-)
Had the spring roll starters, fantastic
The sizzling beef and whole squid wow!!!
I have always been impressed with this place. Great service and food. Eat there quite often as have yet to be disappointed by either the food or service
We had a delicious mutton Bunny Chow and a nice sampler plate of samosas. A real feast for an extremely fair price. The carrot sambal complimented the Bunny chow perfectly with a nice Chile pop from the fiery red chilies. We weren't able to get to Durban, but we feel like this was like visiting a little piece of Durban right in Cape Town! Very welcoming service too!
I've eaten here 3 times (all take-aways). Tonight was a disappointment. The jack fruit curry was very tasty (though very oily and we know restaurants don't exactly spend money on good healthy oil) but the container was only a third full which meant the rice was dry and I didn't feel like I got value for my R128. I suggest you fill up the rest of the container with cheaper veggies because I can buy a bottle of Jack fruit for 65 and I make a mean curry - if I do say so myself 😋. The other two times I was very happy - bunny chow (totally worth it) and a veg curry (don't remember which one) that was so large it lasted 2 days. Nice atmosphere and lovely people.
Indian coming from the US, and first time trying bunny chow. Delicious vegan version with beans 😋. The owners were also super accommodating, and nice to talk to while waiting for the dish to be freshly made. Definitely want to come back and try rotis and curry.
Reminded me of a homely Durban Restaurant. The aroma of a rich quality curry as well entered. Food was great and the staff was very friendly. This is the place for great quality food. I also enjoyed the Masala Tea as a digestive after a hugely satisfying lunch.
What an amazing dinner we had tonight. Thank you for your hospitality and fabulous authentic curries! The portions were large and our tummies are full with leftovers for tomorrow. The lamb bunny chow is an absolute must! Thank you Vash for making us feel at home xxx
Authentic Durban curries and sweets (hard to find in Cape Town!) and a fully licensed bar, with warm and attentive service. The mutton/lamb biryani is delectable.
Amazing authentic experience. As a Durbanite who has recently moved to CPT ,i can say that this place offers True Durban curry and delicious sweet meats.
Amazing experience. Thank You Thank You 🙏
A lamb/mutton bunny chow is one of those Authentic Durban dishes that takes generations after generations to perfect and I'm so pleased to Officially place Imperial Gardens as the Best Bunny Chow In Cape Town. Absolutely delicious, the colour of curry, soft lamb and gravy filled 1/4 bread that bite after bite would leave me chasing the next one. If those that know Britannia in Durban, here they are right in deep south Fish Hoek. In addition, their Crayfish curry with soft roti would take your tastebuds to the next level. Just when you think it's over, you got to have their amazing Soji (wedding style). Definitely worth a drive no matter where you are in Cape Town. Huge Thank you to the hosts for warm hospitality and customer experience 🙏 😀 🙌 ❤️
To all the people who appreciate good home cooked Indian dishes
Imperial Gardens is the place to visit if you are in Fish Hoek
An awesome Diwali celebration took place on 5th and 6th of November 2021
Desigan and Vash hosted their 4th consecutive Diwali Bhangra celebration
It was a weekend well spent with amazing people who traveled from far and wide and people who originally came from Durban. The food was outstanding and delicious, served in Buffet style. The music was specifically selected for entertaining the very happy and pleased customers who didn't want to leave Imperial Gardens.
Thank you Desigan and Vash for always going the extra mile in service delivery🏆🏆🏆🥇
My rating for Imperial Gardens is without doubt👇

Probably the best place to try "authentic " Durban curry without going to Durban. Located on mainroad just as you enter Fishoek. Not the finest decor but let the food speak, friendly staff at your service. FYI they do buffet evenings on Friday, R120 all you can eat, but book in advance
