We're so glad Dros Edenvale is back after lockdown. They always have awesome specials, making it a real value for money outing. Our waitress, Adeline's service was great. The kids also love it and it's a welcome reprieve for us as parents to be able to sit and enjoy a meal while the kids keep themselves busy.

This branch has an awesome vibe, a play area for kids, TV's for watching sport (DSTV), and delicious trinchado!! The Waiters are very friendly. They accept Zapper as payment method as time of this review.
2018/04/01 - Always a winner. Great play areas for the kids - indoors and outdoors. We were a table of eight and ordered burgers, ribs, T-bone steak, lamb shank and kiddies meals. All our food arrived at the same time - great service. Food was cooked to perfection and very tasty.
Quick sit down for the calamari special on a Thursday not feeling like cooking. Pleasantly surprised at the portion size and the service was great! Food cooked to perfection. Packed house and the manager was tending tables bringing take away boxes around. All and all just a nice evening.
Simple, delicious menu with quite the variety. I found the service to be a little slow at this particular Dros BUT that could have been due to the high volume of guests on that night.
I really enjoy this dros. Been here a couple of times and never been dissapointed. They have really good weekly specials. Had the calamari thursday special today.
A bit tricky to get to the restaurant itself. Once inside the seating is ample, specials are plentiful and value-packed and seems like a good atmosphere in general. Food is what you expect from a DROS which makes it one of the better ones. Staff are friendly too!
Really enjoyed my steak. I was so hungry when I went to get this early dinner, I was really craving a steak and avo and biltong fillet hit the spot. My steak was slightly over cooked but I enjoyed it none the less. ghe Service was very Average though.

After our annual shavathon trip we always do a sibling lunch. This time we looked for somewhere close by and didn't drive far out. We've been to greenstone multiple times over the years even to this centre before the mall was built but never tried the food places here.
Really sad we didn't sooner as we had a fantastic tasty value for money lunch. The place was rather empty and we had second thoughts about eating here to be honest. We were given the breakfast menu but it was almost lunch and I was starving so we asked for the lunch menu too. We ordered cheesy garlic and plain garlic snails to share. They were really good and helped kick the first hunger pangs away.
Good varied menu and lotsa meat options. Our waiter Melusi was a gem. He was friendly, helpful and had all the patience as we couldn't decide and even gave us some recommendations which I took. The chefs fillet. The rest of the family took a half chicken with veg, beef burger, and a special they had - mussel stuffed steak with free snails(which was starters)
Wow the portion sizes are good and the taste. DIVINE. First time in a long time I asked for well done steak and I got it perfectly well doe. Not cremated. Not raw. And to top it I had the chefs sauce which was a cheese and onion sauce with bacon bits. I polished my entire plate with a smile.
Bro had his steak and enjoyed it, my sister had the burger and enjoyed the peri sauce ( which was really good) with the chips and onion rings while mom had the chicken.
Now for dessert. Even though we were beyond stuffed the waitresses kept harping on the new waffles as the board caught our eye... A carrot waffle with lemon cheesecake.... and a few other chocolate options (gave up chocolate for lent so scratch all 4 other options)
We decided to buy one and share between 4. Sadly this wasn't as great as we hoped. Waffle was bitter. The cheesecake was quite solid and the flabour wasn't great. But nothing y could replace the fantastic mains we had.... and I think it's perfectly priced.
A good spot to meet up with mates. Or even have a kiddies party as we saw one family doing. They have a kiddies section outside as well as indoors with playstation type games.
Really delicious pub grub with awesome 80's / 90's music in the back round . Can't go wrong with the delicious Rib and Calamari combo , meat falls off the bone and the serve it with these crunchy skinny onion rings Mmmmmm . Only thing that was wrong is they boil their "baked" potatoes , tisk tisk naughty Dros .
