Food always good! You must try the pink gin and tonic on tap. Unfortunately only one glass available, but it was good.
Nice quiet and family friendly place.
Atmosphere is fantastic.
Food selection is great.
Its a pizza drive restaurant.
Quantities may seem small, but are extremely filling.
My recommendation of pizza for this place "The Butcher"
All in all great place.
Definitely recommend to anyone
Oh my goodness! What a discovery. We went to look at the nursery, found some nice plants, but, the shop, the restaurant. We were visiting from Cape Town only 2 days, we went back both days. Food is delicious, service good and lots to see and buy. Great place.
When you walk in the front door you can smell the wood fire. Beautiful wooden floors and friendly staff make the restaurant feel homely and warm. The food is freshly made and delicious. We miss you guys terribly during the lockdown!
Country Bumpkin offers a unique experience in East London, where families can have an enjoyable outing, whilst their kids can play in a lovely garden. This alone makes it worth one's while to go there on a balmy day or summer night. The food is enjoyable and there are a nice variety of dishes on the menu. The service, however, is not always up to standard. One is often bound to wait for food, or being confronted with wrong orders. That being said, it is overall a good experience.

Kids love it. Food is great. Coffee is amazing. Service could be better but its usually because it can be quite busy in the afternoons but sitting outside in the garden is such a treat, its worth the little extra wait.
What a lovely lunch we had. We arrived very late, but were happily greeted, & seated outside in the warm sun. The pizzas we ordered were delicious, with plenty of toppings, and the efficient waitress, Olwethu, was friendly & didn't even complain that we were the last patrons. We'll be back.
Amazing staff and they are always bring your food quickly. They do get busy but the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. I loved going there as a young child and I still do.
I'm sure I've eaten out at almost every place that serves food in East London and this place stands out the most. The food and service we had was perfect, can't beat the price either, the venue is great. I am a fan, well done guys see you soon
Not quite the same atmosphere they used to have in Chintsa. The Sunday buffet at the original venue was always a winner. Sad to see that not on the menu anymore, But they still offer good value for money and a pleasant venue. If you book on a sunny day - Try get seating in the garden
