Part of the fun is driving down the bumpy, windy road to find this little jewel situated just off Contermanskloof Road in Durbanville. Not a lot of seating, but the food and drinks are always amazing and ever so tasty. Best carrot cake in the Western Cape - true story! Cyclists oasis and they even have a well kitted bike repair shop next to the coffee shop. Staff are always very friendly and the place is very well run. Well worth a visit!

Beautiful play area and setting for kids! It's enclosed and has everything you need to have a great time with busy little ones. Well maintained grass, swings, jungle gym, slide, sand pit with toys provided, trees for shade and picnic benches inside the actual play area which is nice.
It was windy in Cape Town today but this area was quite well protected and pleasant.
Deluxe coffee and carrot cake from The Dairy Shed is 👌. It would be great if they could add more vegetarian options to their menu.
The weather was lovely today, ideal to stop by and enjoy some fresh air, at this farm setting. We enjoyed their cappuccino and fresh, delicious, moist carrot cake!
If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and go to a farm atmosphere, have a cup of good coffee and a light snack, this is the perfect spot. The food is served as for takeaway, but there is seating both inside and outside. There is a steady flow of mountain bikers but there is never a crowd of people, maintaining the quiet farm feeling.
Authentic farm experience, with uniquely rustic and not yet commercialized approached that is true to it’s centuries old heritage. Awesome trails for any skill of mountainbiker but no trail running folks! Food is great and the coffee is usually fantastic.

Spat great for fantastic lunch options, a playground for the little kids and a beer garden nestled in the trees for the big kids.

It's always a great place to stop for a quick refuel during a mountain bike ride at Conterman's kloof trails.

Absolutely love the place. They make the Best home made carrot cake. Coffee is delicious. Some really good food and breakfast. Cycle on mtb routes towards the shop is absolutely rewarding if you have time. Recently they added a playpark for the kiddies if you wanna drive by car. Staff always friendly. Lots off mountainbikers visit shop for cooldown after riding some trails.

If you want a out of the city experience this is the place you are looking for. It is situated on Contermans Kloof farm and is mostly frequented by mountian bikers doing the routes there. (Which is awesome by the way) They have a beatiful play area for kids as well. Seeting is mostly outside so not great for bad weather days. Small but sufficient menu and I like the coffee as well.
