Don't be fooled by a brilliant coffee front, its the back where the real magic happens. Whether it is for sit down or take away, the food is out of this world. With the best Italian food in Cape Town, Adele's authentic Italian breakfast (two poached eggs on home-made bread with home-made napolitana sauce dressed with rocket and Parmesan) is something I cant go without in a week. Try it. Enjoy it. Love it.
This coffee shop opened up 6 years ago. Warm intimate vibe. Real Italian cooking. A real Gem for a quick coffee, brunch or lunch! I can definitely recommend!

This is the best eatery in Durbanville which makes fresh delicious Italian pasta daily. The food has flavour and all ingredients are fresh. Adele ' s gnocchi has to be the best in Cape Town whether it's with the pulled lamb or pork. Visit Cafe Perlina for a coffee or an authentic Italian dish. You will return!

The best, homiest food you'll find in town. It's great for small gatherings and the staff are super friendly. While they don't have many vegetarian dishes, they're more than willing to leave out an ingredient if you don't eat it.
Good coffee, lekker breakfast, fried tomatoes delicately herbed, service polite and efficient and GOOD bang for the buck. Friendly, chatty ambiance and we'll supported by locals for good reason....and the chocolate brownies need a special mention-they are very special...I tried unsuccessfully to get the recipie. I'll definitely be back.
Had gnocchi in a beef ragout there the other day- sublime. All pasta's served at lunchtime are homemade, thoughtfully sauced and highly recommend.
Café Perlina is everything a Cafe should be but very few cafés are able to live up to.
If you are wondering what that means it is a combination of a few things; It is good coffee; A great menu that regularly changes and it's worth trying everything from, and a great atmosphere that makes you feel so at home that you could easily want to stay the whole day.

This place has one of the best breakfast meals I've ever had!! The potato rosti is awesome. Effort and care has been put into it so that it has a certain sophistication about it.
What a delightful hidden gem in the Durbanville CBD! We decided on the spur of the moment to try Cafe Perlina for a late lunch. The mushroom and ricotta ravioli with sage butter was light, delicate and melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Good coffees and a cheescake that is the best I have ever tasted. Light, lovely texture and I could have eaten 2 slices! One of the loveliest meals we have had in a while and all in a cosy setting.
