great food, great prices, super friendly. during lunch time or a little after working hours it gets super busy, so it might take a while to get your food, but if you have good timing, the wait is not so long. they sell a ton of stuff, sp the chance of buying anything that is prepared ahead of time is 0 (well, you can also buy cakes they keep in a fridge). you wait a bit because things are made for you. always fresh, always hot and always delicious. been a loyal customer for probably ten years now.
get the chicken, chip&cheese rounder, mutton burger or the tika chicken. thank me later. ;)
Locally known for great Chicken Tikka at the most affordable price... Big Ben's Pizza is one of the best (and I'm not a huge pizza fan) The Four Seasons and Seafood is amazing!!!!
Amazing food . The only decent place to eat in the area. Food always tastes great and is affordable. Become a staple to businesses around the area. So sad that they're closed from flood damage 😫 please reopen guys
Years and years of consistency. I've eaten here for 15 or more years and its still good and still worth it. I've moved to the North Coast of Durban but if I'm ever even remotely close to Big Ben around lunch time, I'm going to stop there! My favourites are chicken tikka, Nob chicken roll and BB mutton burger.
Bought the mutton cheese burger with chips. Very tasty old school taste, very freshly prepared, friendly service by the owner himself, who always has a very pleasant smile... great quality food, at very fair prices.... My Go to place in the Isipingo area
I last ate their food almost 18 years ago, when I bought 2 weeks ago, it hadn't changed much at all and was absolutely value for money. Still a unique taste. The steak Tikka and chicken Tikka is like nothing else I have tasted. The pizza is very different and toppings are crammed on. Definitely highly recommend. Oh also the owner is a very pleasant polite Muslim. 10000000% halaal.
Big Ben is our go to takeaway for schwarmas and chips. Very friendly staff and the meals are prepared quickly and we never have a problem with any of their meals. Great customer service and delicious meals! Keep it up :)

Worst veg burger I had in the last 25 years. Patty was 20% larger than the bun. Ratio was off, too much burger to bun. Too much tomato. Cucumber in the burger? I understand gurken in a gourmet burger, but cucumber in a soya burger is like having salad. Wrong crunchy texture without a pickle after taste, incorrect. I've had veg burgers from many eateries in Durban, Johannesburg, Fordsburg, Lenasia, Laudium, Pretoria, East London, Cape Town, Dubai, and about 12 cities in India. This was by far the worst veg burger I've had in the last 25 years hands down. Positive was fresh ingredients and the bun was the best part of the burger. Chips was not fried right, less salt, no salt provided. The other items on the menu are quiet good especially their chicken Tikka. Good pizza with chilli topping. Great fresh cream doughnuts as well. Will upgrade the rating because of the pizza and doughnuts :)
Food was awesome, service was amazing.. Ordered a chicken Tikka sandwich as per the owners recommendation. Definitely a good option, a perfect mix of spices in a sandwich filled onion, peppers, chips, and of course chicken. Loads of chicken
