Review The Chocolate Garden - Durban

The Chocolate Garden is such a beautiful spot to spend the day at. The staff were so lovely and friendly, which always makes my experience at places feel so much better. Our waiter was also nice, he took our order which didn't take very long to arrive. Our food looked so lovely and tasted good too. He warmed our drinks up for us because it had gotten cold and was very helpful. My kids absolutely loved and enjoyed the play area and the animals. They were having so much fun and were entertained, which allowed my hubby and I to have some uninterrupted time together. My kids did not want to leave, so I will definitely take them back again. It was well worth it and a lovely experience. I would highly recommend visiting them. There is also accommodation and venue hire available.

The Chocolate Garden, love this place ❤️ A beautiful venue for a function or just enjoying a scrumptious meal. Welcoming service, clean toilet facilities, kids play ground and especially love the age old tortoises, ducks and rabbits.

Cute animals and lovely setting. I had the potato rosti breakfast which was very good. Hubby raved about their croissant which is freshly baked per order. Will definitely come here again.

This is a lovely place to spend some time. The gardens are beautiful and immaculately cared for. If you have kids, they will love it. There are bunnies, guinea pigs and other animals. There is also a jungle gym for the kiddies to enjoy. The food is well presented and the service is fantastic. The only thing I found peculiar is the significant lack of chocolate dishes to enjoy. Strange given the name of "The Chocolate Garden."

A beautifully quiet spot with so much to do for kids, yet still feels like a tranquil spot for the adults. A tasty menu with good options. Would love to see them supporting craft beer and adding a few local beer options for the parents. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Relaxing. My son enjoyed playing there while we had a scrumptious breakfast. The chocolate cheesecake is incredibly delicious 😋.

Great place to chill with family, lovely service and very nice atmosphere. The food was good too and was received on time with no hassles. This is great for a visit especially if you have kids, as there are ducks and bunny's on site, and even a play area. All round good place to visit.

I can't believe, I missed this little gem under my nose. Great spot to feel far away from home when you not. Food was great and they have delicious milkshake and ice coffee options. A must visit.

2nd time we're visiting and it's just as lekker as the 1st time. Wheelchair accessible. Security on site (helps to keep bunnies away from car wheels😉). Awesome, friendly staff, great atmosphere and fantastic coffee/cake. Wonderful venue to relax and/or keep the kids entertained with farm animals on site. Next time we'll go for lunch.

Be sure to check out this little gem, a short distance from the airport at the edge of Mt Moreland. The garden is absolutely stunning! So peaceful and tranquil. Take a walk through it and admire the beauty (you get to see some geese, tortoises and guinea pigs too) A great spot for Instagram photos. Service was good and friendly and I loved the cappuccino and chocolate cake. Definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend.
