A gem. If you are a real Durbanite, this place will blow you away. The owner is a great guy, and his staff is excellent. We even met the kitchen staff. It's just fantastic 12 out of 10. Makes me proud to support them.

Tanitiã Munroe

Known for live music scene and amazing decor , this club is arguably the coolest jazz bar in Durban. The atmosphere will remind of a speakeasy joint with a twist. From vinyl album covers as part of the decor John Coltrane, to the amazing photos and sculptural pieces. There is also a room with church benches that fits right in with the decor! Simply and amazing place with the most delightful staff !

This place is really nice. I want to commend Mr. Langa for his exceptional customer service. He allowed us in before opening time, because there was a miscommunucation between the tickets and the time the live band was going to start performing. All I can say is that The Chairman restaurant and bar should be in control of live performances communication not the other way round just to make sure their professional service and reputation is not compromised in anyway. Mr. Langa, my wife and I are certainly coming back again to that wonderful atmosphere we experienced last night. Our visit was compliments of our daughter treating her parents out 😊👌🏾

Sibusiso Mazibuko

Lovely place with an eclectic crowd. Great live music and atmosphere, the service is top notch, they really go the extra mile.. The hot wings and pizza are delicious. Missing one star because all they serve are pricey craft beers that don't even taste that good. Some mass market beer could definitely make a difference.
