This was my first shisanyama experience, being Indian, we have the tendency of burning braai meat on purpose(LOL) so having lamb done medium was definitely something new to me, but delicious. Chops were flavourful and succulent, the stars for me were the pap & chakalaka. Chefs kiss. Livers aren’t my thing, but my friend devoured them so safe to say they were lovely. Vibes are immaculate, we visited on Heritage Day and had a lovely view of the performers and traditional dancers. Decor upstairs was sublime, if you want to be a little secluded definitely get a table up in VIP though the actual action happens downstairs. Kasi experience 10/10 ✅
Diya buya moo and it's a great place to have fun I was there in past weekend Saturday to the event that was hosted by Hollywood invited DJ Tira....the line of DJs were superb from 21h00 upto 2 o'clock we enjoyed
Ahh man this place is beautiful. The security is top class. The property is clean. Toilets are hygienic . The music is amazing. The food. The people of Durban are simply amazing. Would definitely visit again
Certainly had the best time of my life. This is a place for all people of different cultures and backgrounds to come, enjoy good food and entertainment, and have fun. The food was the best. I really had fun and enjoyed my time. I will certainly come back.

Max's is really beautiful and classy. So much order and it is clean. I am not a groove person but I can come here to unwind anytime. There is everything for everyone.
The VIP is not expensive starting from R200, but you can manage to find a private space in the 'general' section.
This place is super safe and orderly! From parking to everywhere inside. The only thing I didn't enjoy is how long it takes to pay for drinks! There are people who pack and arrange your drinks after you order, but you wait for too long queueing to pay 🙄
Had a blast the music was on point the food was epic I'm happy our driver highly recommended the place n don't regret
1st time visit and I REALLY enjoyed it. Irregardless of the drama that unfolded between the security guards and the customers. I think there should be a time frame of when free entry ends, you can't make an announcement now and put it in to place immediately, those who were inside and maybe left to go to the car and suddenly they have to pay an entrance fee. Either than that I genuinely enjoyed my night there. Even the food was really good.
It was awesome, it is very big and spacious.. love the space . We payed for VIP which was a bit boring and super hot , kindly fix or install Aircon especially because Durban can be super hot .Kudos to the security, they awesome ,quick and good looking 😊. I was not please with the male security at the door who wanted to body search us ...that is disgusting and ofcoz we denied rather the lady security do it , so look out for that bad behaviour otherwise I loved it ...and would definitely do it again when visiting
What a beautiful place. Parking is limited. Unless you reserve parking 😐very spacious inside. Not so easy on the pocket. Way too pricey. DJs are amazing. Overall experience 5/5 ...
