We had a lovely lunch there today. It has been on my to-do list as it has a number of vegan options and we were not disappointed � food did take a while but our waitress was lovely and did explain they had to make the green burger from scratch so we really didn't mind. The food was amazing and we are glad we found this gem. A great place for us to have special lunches that caters well for everyone � we will definitely be back �
Love this place! Everything is good food wise and the views are spectacular! It is a must when visiting Cape Town. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Decided to have brunch here after a hike on Sunday morning and it was the best decision. We sat outside and had the most spectacular view. The atmosphere at the Green Vine Eatery is so peaceful and serene. The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. The hot cakes were slightly dry however the waiter was happy to get us extra maple syrup. For drinks we had a very refreshing, freshly squeezed orange juice , rooibos red cappuccino and rooibos tea. I recommend this place to all and will definitely come back to try out other things on the menu.
On Sunday I booked a table for 8 of us at the Green Vine to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. We were welcomed to a table set beautifully with fresh cut flowers situated close to the warmth of the fire. The service was quick and efficient, happy professional servers. The pizzas we ordered were devoured, made with fresh organic homegrown ingredients smothered in cheese. My daughter was also presented with an amazingly delicious chocolate birthday cake. The staff went out of their way to make this the most enjoyable birthday lunch. A wonderful experience.
Perhaps the best #eggbenedict ever. Done my yoga session and look for a place for good brunch, this one comes on the list. Make a call to ensure they open and serve egg benedict, they said the breakfast time is just over. I ask the chef to do me a huge favour and I will be there within 10 minutes. They have a few options, Parma ham is my choice which is quite uncommon. Usual choices are gypsy ham and salmon, this Parma ham option is absolutely excellent. Eggs are soft and runny, I think they prepare it with good vinegar, which makes the runny egg less heavy when you taste it, feeling less guilty. Lots of spinach which is beyond my expectation, makes the whole thing much less guilty again. Parma ham, I didn’t know there are such a lot of them, can hardly finish all of them!
we had an amazing birthday event today at Green Vine Eatery - the food was fabulous, and the service was excellent. the manager, Zane, was super attentive and helpful with the detals of this very important 80th birthday party. Location is spectacular and the price was really good!
Wonderful experience yesterday at this restaurant. Every member of staff makes you feel very welcome and goes the extra mile. Food is amazing and fresh. Over the years have tried many things on the menu and the dishes are really great. I recommend this restaurant and the view is the best by far.

Our once ( sometimes even twice a week) favorite spot. I am new at this whole review thing! But after numerous visits I just had to put something up. Green Vine is Great for Breakfast & for lunch! Lovely atmosphere and Very friendly staff and spot on service. They have a new chef who has just started and the food is absolutely yum! We love the plating and color of each dish. It's a great spot to go to by yourself when you have some work to do on your computer ( they have wifi) , or to meet up with friends at , or even to just take your family to. They have just opened up for their seasonal dinners. We invited some friends and family for dinner this past weekend and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It is absolutely beautiful at night- the restaurant has a very warm feeling to it and one of my guest commented on what a great vibe the restaurant has. They do fill up quite quickly for diners, which are only on Friday and Saturday nights so phone ahead of time to make a booking. Defiantly try book for dinner or during the week as weekends are quite busy. I recommend the Constantia Rosti, the calamari and any specials the chef has on, on the day. Defiantly worth a visit
The experience, views and food were spectacular. We couldn't find the main entrance and entered through the back where we saw a rat scurry past us. Not too sure how common that is given that we did see bunnies later on... Other than that, we loved our time there!
The perfect place to feel like your in the country side amazing views ! Gr8 food and service ... found my new happy place. I enjoyed walking around organic vineyards and veg gardans .

Met up with my wine club at this lovely spot in early Feb. We were seated at an outdoor table with wooden benches on the patio facing the garden. Started off with a wine tasting at R50 for 3 Whites and 1 Red. A bit steep but they are organic. The food menu isn't vast but there are a variety of options. 4 people had the Gourmet Vine Burger (nominated for a Klink Award for Best Gourmet Burger on a Wine Farm), 2 had salads and I had one of the specials that day - a delicious homemade gnocchi with bacon & peas in a creamy white wine sauce. It was to die for! Everyone enjoyed their food and with live music on Sundays, it's a very pleasant way to spend a couple of lazy hours chatting, eating & drinking. The only hiccup we had was when we had to settle the wine tasting bill (charged separately to the restaurant) & the bottle of wine way charged incorrectly. Turns out there were 3 different menus floating around. The matter was quickly settled and the bill was changed. I hope that Management has sorted this out by now. Would I go back? Yes I would. Lovely setting, beautiful scenery, delicious food & wine. Reasonably priced. Service a tad slow. Great spot for families as kids can run around on the lawns when the weather is good.
