Safe to say i have never been to a shop with such variety!! Love the gluten and sugar free variety of goods! Truffles are absolutely heavenly!! A must visit while in clarens!!!

Purple Onion Deli has been serving the Free State community since 2003 and they have the most cosy coffee bar in Clarens.

Well worth a visit to for treats for yourself and family at home! The coffee is excellent!

*Recommendation: Definitely my go-to for great coffee, fudge, homemade jams, a huge array of chocolates and preserves in the area!

This quaint deli is perfect for convenience... Fully stocked with the most exotic ingredients to make your home braai perfect. There is an array of items to cook up a storm in the comfort of your own cabin. A wonderful store worth the visit.
