The first thing that happens when you walk into Highlands coffee is the mouth watering smell of deliciously roasted coffee... the magic of this coffee shop is thay they roast their own beans right there. I sat sipping my coffee staring out the window at the beautiful mountains... great coffee with a view .. two of my most favourite things. Best Coffee in Clarens, probably the Free State. Such a beautiful and inviting cafe set in heart of picturesque Clarens. The owner kindly taught us about roasting bean, which is done right inside the cafe for you to watch. All the staff were kind, funny and most importantly, incredible baristas. An absolute must for anyone stopping in Clarens.
