Korean Soul Kitchen Restaurant

Loved the vibe of the place. K-pop playing on the background. We ordered Jjapchae for my hubby, jjajamanoen for myself and beef kimbab. Was so delicious!

I loved this place. My experience with Korean Kitchen felt as if I gad been transported to Korea itself. The food had so much layers of flavour and tasted so good. I had never eaten something that was so delicious, it was worth every drop of money I spent. I will definitely be going there again until I try at least everything on their menu. The atmosphere of the place was so chilled. It was relaxed and comfortable, the Korean music playing in the background was just the cherry on top and had me singing along in my head. If your reading please go there you won't regret it

Have you seen the videos of people screaming at BTS or BLACKPINK concerts? 😭 That's the emotion that was swirling inside my head when I ate Korean food for the first time at this restaurant. 🥹 The pictures below of the Kimchi Fried Rice do not do justice to the burst of flavours that envelop your mouth and leave a nice tinge of spice afterwards. I don't like hot food but wow, their hot and spicy foods have purpose. They're not hot for the sake of being hot. It served the dish well and being paired with flavour makes you appreciate that the dish cannot be eaten and enjoyed any other way. 😌 I also suggest you come hungry. Their portions are well sized to fill you up. 😋 It felt like a grandmother about to spoil you and give you all the love and affection you deserve. The plum flavoured souju was amazing! 🥹 Vodka & spirit lovers alike will love this. Just be sure to order some water before you leave cause you won't expect the hangover for your first time. 😅 The waiter who served us was so graceful and patient. I have never seen someone so at ease and calm waiting tables on a Friday night alone. Wow! Just stellar! 👌🏾 The karaoke room has all the popular songs until 2019, so you'll be spoilt for choice. It also has a slew of Korean music. We had so much fun. 🕺🏾 They just opened a new restaurant in Sea Point and I'm so happy for them. They deserve all the hype and more! 👏🏾 I'll be coming here a lot more to buy the merch I didn't get to buy and to try more of their menu til I memorise it like people remember k-pop lyrics. 😅

Korean Kitchen was an absolute pleasure to visit.❤️ If you are a K-pop fan you'll absolutely love it, because the restaurant has a lot of K-pop themes within the shop.🔥 The person attending the till was also really hot (and Asian) and he literally looked like a Kpop star. It was very pleasing to the eye. 🥰 The restaurant itself was very clean and hygienic. The floors are clean and the bathrooms were acceptably clean (a little bit on the cluttered side, but still acceptable either way). 🚽 They have the traditional karaoke rooms that are seen in Korea (check Google or any Korean series for a reference). Those rooms were clean and private and away from the main eating area of the restaurant (there are 2 separate karaoke rooms away from the dining area).🎤 The service was great and the patrons were very friendly and helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant is very calm and happy. The food itself was very delicious and came in a very timely manner. The restaurant also has an extensive range of Korean dishes to choose from on the menu (also if you know any Korean dishes that are off the menu, they might actually make it for you if you ask them nicely).😇 I ended up trying some of the famous Korean Soju (R150 a bottle). The original one tastes like normal clean Smirnoff, whereas the Plum flavoured Soju tastes really good. Either way, it definitely will make you a little warm under the collar and pink in the cheeks 😋😊 All in all, the experience was a very enjoyable and memorable one and I 10/10 would recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a taste of the real Korea.👍

I loved how attentive the staff and waiter was. And the music is vibey. Don't get me started on the food! Fantastic!
