The manager at this branch was amazing recommended that I tried the grilled snoek. All I can say is that it was unbelievable really good . Was worried about the bones but now I will order this again. Thanks young man for making me try it.

So this was my first time having Snoekies lol I'm embarrassed to say. I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was done in this amazing crunchy batter and it was so so fresh. It went really well with their chips and yummy tartare sauce. Service though? Wow the cashier had to be the most miserable person I've come across. It was Sunday and the weather was perfect but this woman literally ruined my mood with her shitty nonchalant attitude. Take her away from the front desk before she puts someone else off.

I've always found that this location was one of the top three best Snoekies.

The fish, calamari, chips and rolls are always fresh.

I love their calamari burgers. It's so good!

I love a good fried fish and chips just as much a the next person. But my personal favourite is prawns and calamari. Snoekies prepares the prawns buy butterflying and de-veining then dusting in panko crumbs then flash frying til golden. Yummo!

Their calamari is always tender and cooked perfectly.
Hubby loves good old plain bake and chips!

The store is clean and there is suitable inside as well as outside seating. One is always greeted with a friendly smile and fast, efficient service.

Good ol' fish 'n' chips, Capetonian style! The freshest take-away fish I've had. I usually get the regular hake 'n' chips when craving some fried and salty goodness. The snoek is also good - just watch out for the bones. Compared to other fast food seafood take-away joints, Snoekies is definitely a step up in the game.

I was pleasantly surprised when visiting this establishment about a week ago. I had the prawn and calamari combo both of which was cooked perfectly and portions were generous. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. My only problem was with the roles which didn't seem that fresh maybe this was because I visited later in the day but then they should look into getting a new supplier.

Snoekies rondebosch is really good and crispy, it's fresh but it takes really long and they're not as popular in the southern suburbs. They're well priced

Best take away fried fish and chips. The hake was wonderful - snoek very bony (but that's snoek) and the calamari was also very good. Will be back

Prawns were decent 7/10 , hake and chips 8/10 just abit too oily , but otherwise it's good 👌🏻.would defiantly come back for another chow.

Very good value for money. Mom and I order a grilled hake ad a fried hake and a medium packet of chips for R125. Fish pieces are large. The wait time is less than 15 minutes. There are tables to sit, but I've only had take aways.

I believe that they serve one of the best grilled Hake in the whole of Cape Town. They are serving Prawns and Calamari as well but my taste is rather developed for Hake.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we ordered the hake calamari and chips and the food was divine! The store was also very clean and everything on its place. Would definitely visit again

After a tiring morning at the park across the road it was so good to relax at snoekies, the place is really clean and calm. Service was great. The food was fresh and tasted lovely. It was relaxing and felt comfortable. My hubby also bought bait while waiting on our food so we killed two birds with one stone. Saved us the trouble of driving around somewhere else in this heat looking for bait.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal grilled hake with fried calamari I would have preferred chips little more crispy😋😋😋 beautiful clean sitting place - nice & cool with fan above yr head-no problem with flies -we had our meal inside but they also have the option of sitting outside as well 😊👍

Possibly of the freshest tasting fish I've bought in a long time. Their pricing might be slightly above ave, but for the quality and taste, definitely worth it.

Snoekies was absolutely fantastic. We ordered hake and snoek with chips. Simple enough, but wow it was extremely well prepared. The batter was crisp and the chips spot on.
