Akiya Sushi - Century City - Photo album

This was our first time trying a hotpot, and what a fun experience! The broth had incredible flavour to it and the food overall was fantastic. Amazing views of Table Mountain too! The service was hit & miss. Our waiter seemed a little lost and couldn’t answer most of our questions, so we gave up ask
If you don't mind paying a little bit extra for good quality food, then this is a good place to visit. The sushi was tasty, then ramen was flavourful, and our waitress was great. Hope to go back!
Family outing for Father's Day lunch. He wanted Japanese cuisine. We ordered our feast - 2 Hot Pots - Seafood Nabe and Kimchi Nabe. The meat in the Kimchi Nabe was still frozen solid - but it did cook in the broth. The Seafood Nabe was advertised with scallops but there wasn't any scallops - they
The food is extremely tasty! Definitely would recommend the Miso Ramen. The service is ok as our meals came out at different times resulting in one person waiting for a while before eating. The music was too loud for the quality of the speakers but this was a small issue and only became an issue lat
Good place, food is a little too pricey. Overall, a nice experience. I would recommend this place if you have cash and feel like something different. The highlight for me was the crunch banana with ice cream, this combo really works well.
Top class service, top class food and top class dining experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant !
It was amazing! My first visit to this gem in Cape town! Akiya Sushi exceeded all our expectations! Menu choices to die for-my youngest grandson was so impressed with his choice of food and drink! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere in a safe, airy space with lots of greenery in decor. A real treat!
The food was great! The service however, not so much; the waiters are strange, not well trained, not so friendly either. Didn’t even get any smile, we tried to engage our waiter about the menu but no success. It was a strange and uncomfortable service but the food is great and thats the important pa
Great experience if you're new to Ramen and so on. Portions are massive and tasty! Will go back soon.
I've lost count of the amount of time me and my wife have been here. all the dishes that we have tried so far, including the sushi, has been amazing. If you're looking for a place that has food that's consistently good, this is the one. The portions are big and you get more than your money's worth.
Great Japanese and Chinese restaurant. The hot pot experience is for a single person, not the traditional way where everyone is sharing the hot pot. The food was great, the service too. The restaurant is clean and the food was well presented.
I went there for their famous hot pot. I really enjoyed it. It has two sides. The spicy and mild side. Both were delicious. We ordered the lamb, glass noodles, deep fried bean curd, lobster balls, seasonal veg. Most of the stuff to add to the hotpot was yummy. I just didn’t enjoy the deep fried be
Good service, excellent sushi, also tried the Mongolian lamb (was sizzling on arrival and caused a steamy stir when the sauce was added). Will definitely go back. Pineapple jam jar was awesome.
What a great place, hubby took me here today for a lunch date, we had the most delicious starters, sushi and Drinks, their Jasmine Pineapple and Mango Ice-Tea is seriously addictive and is served in the cutest Pineapple shaped glass, their portions are very generous, the staff and owner are so warm,
Was pleasantly impressed with this place, they had dobinmushi soup which is quite rare even for Japanese restaurants. And it was seriously good! Best one I’ve had in some time. The agadashi tofu didn’t seem authentic but it was fried nicely and the tofu was fresh! Ordered the tempura udon soup nood
