Been a loyal customer since the mall opened in the 90’s! Woolworths has always been a flagship tenant at Canal Walk.
I love the variety they have in the women’s clothing section, they stock Birkenstock in the shoe section.
Love their homeware section with beautiful crockery sets and their feather down duvets are heavenly to sleep on. Oh and my mom loves their Elizabeth Arden counter!
Their freezer section is always fully stocked and they usually have someone whipping up little meals for you to taste, I’ve had sushi, freshly made teriyaki noodle stir fry, they also sometimes offer samples of chuckles, snacks and fresh fruit.
I usually chat to the butchers about when they get their meat delivered so that I can be the first to buy, I also sometimes get them to weigh some bones when available 🦴 which I cook in my pressure cooker to use for stock & soup 🍲 (great for getting in your collagen) 👍
Gosh you can get everything here! They really treat their customers like royalty 👑
The service and freshness of their products is always top notch at Woolworths Canal Walk! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Also recommend going on the weekend to get some free samples here and there. Always going to be a loyal customer, I respect all the friendly cashiers always making polite chat with you while they scan your groceries.
From the beautifully animated Xmas display windows, you expect to walk into a cheerful store, but this was lacking.
Aesthetically pleasing and spaciously laid out departments I spent time in, however while there were tons of staff around, none acknowledged or offered assistance.
This is a flagship store and it definitely stands out as above the rest in look and feel.
Shopping was great. Very helpful staff. Foodies in restaurant was good.

If it's not for the clothes then it has to be for the groceries .
I'm a discerning shopper and I'm yet to complain about Woolies .

Woolworths ..WORTH a visit
Wine and gin tasting to entertain even the most unsophisticated pallet. Wonderful set-up at the estate to enjoy a relaxing yet enjoyable day out in the Winelands. I had a splendid time in the well-stocked shop. A definite thumbs-up to visit!
This is one of the biggest of the Woolworths chain shops- covers an expansive (and expensive area) over 2 floors in the mall.
Different areas dedicated to different categories or brands of goods, well organised. Also had a wide array of products to choose from.
The staffers were courteous and helped with directions to different sections. They also usually gave good descriptions of the goods. The tills were not crowded or too queue-y either.

Love the store. Our fave for quality, well priced WW labelled clothing. You can shop for home items including appliances. We recently bought our Philips air fryer at a great price. The WW groceries/ food items are awesome quality and includes long life items, fresh groceries and bakery items. There is a fishmonger on site and a halaal butcher. We always buying lovely free range meat products at the meat counter. There are always good deals on offer. The WW restaurant is now fully halaal and can be enjoyed by all with a good meal and great cuppa coffee in hand. Highly recommended.
