My new favourite place. All the food is delicious and the portions are generous. You must try the choripan, you won't want to eat any other chorizo after trying theirs. The cocktails are delicious and different to what you find elsewhere. After hours, the dancing starts and depending on the night you can get a free lesson. Juan is friendly and full of personality and so are the rest of the staff. The atmosphere is great and the music is as well. Definitely go check it out.

Best Empanadas and Churros in town! We started off with the Chicken Empanadas, 1 each and the flavour combos were amazing. We did ask the waiter for 3, but ended up with 2 which was ok considering the portions were pretty big (R40 each, R110 for 3) For mains I had the Argentinian Trio. The cut of meat was a bit tough but for the price I didn't expect a fillet. Hubby on the other hand had the Steak Benedict which was a soft fillet. Once again the flavors were exceptional. Deciding to pig out, we had both dessert on offer on their menu. The Churros was fantastic, crispy and sweet. The Banana Pancakes were good but the Churros was too big a competitor. Value wise it's a bit pricey, even when using the Entertainer as they discount the cheapest menu item (in our case it was R40 off fot the Empanadas, which should have been R110 for 3 of the waiter had listened) so just a heads up that this gem doesn't work like the other restaurant on the app. Our original bill ended up being R633 and included 3 beers. Service was ok, a bit in the slow and confusing side. The food took longer than average to be served BUT we didn't mind as it was clearly cooked fresh. EDIT: The response by the restaurant on my review was fantastic! I loved the fact that they went the extra mile to find which table we were and to investigate. We will be back soon. With more friends!

One of my favourite and most memorable evenings! The most DELICIOUS cocktails (you must order the Number Juan), INCREDIBLE food (literally EVERYTHING on the menu) REMARKABLE Malbec, GREAT staff and service, FUN latino dance vibes and of course Juan himself - the SUPER host! For me, going to PICADAS was probably THE food experience highlight of my 2018. Get hold off your besties and make a reservation at PICADAS. Your summer will be all the better for it!

The food was Great!! I was so full that I didn’t have room for dessert but I was persuaded to try the Churros and if you’ve ever been to El Moro in Mexico City, the Churros at PICADAS are just as amazing especially with the melted chocolate layer on top. When I return to SA, I plan on making another visit here.

Had a meal and drinks here for new years eve with a few mates. The food was delicious, the entrana steak with provencal was the tastiest piece of meat I've ever tasted! The owner, Juan, was very friendly and welcoming

The only latin bar in Cape Town with a real latin vibe. Great latin music, lot of dancing and a friendly atmosphere. Resuming: a must-go place for latin party lovers in Cape Town! Apart from that, food is also tasty and authentic argentinian. One of my favorite places in Cape Town without any doubt!

The surprise of walking into Picadas as it was preparing the opening as well as doing a pre-tasting the cocktails - and they were willing to share. Good vision Juan. What a co-incidence. The Picanas were superb as well

Such tasty South American food! The empanadas, homemade choripan and the entraña were our favourite. The Fernet (Argentina liquor) was delicioso too
