First time trying out the *halaal certified* Sticky BBQ in Cavendish and was definitely not disappointed! While there were a variety of options to choose from, we had the rib and wing combo deal, as well as the Sriracha Burger. Ribs were soft and succulent, wings were a little small, but very tasty. The Sriracha Burger had such an interesting taste - combination of spiciness, complimented with a touch of honey was delicious. We went a little after 8pm on Friday, and didn't have to wait that long for food, or to find a table in the food court. Service was good - manager checked on us and other patrons, as well advising us when we couldn't decide what to order. Nice set up in the store. It was clean, and the visuals around the store were appealing too. Definitely going back to try something else on the menu!
Received a work incentive for burger meals here and took my family and friend with. Ordered 3 different monster burgers which was enjoyed tremendously lol. It is in my opinion the biggest, baddest and most delicious of burgers as it was juicy and with lots of ingredients to make the most epic of burgers I have ever seen or tried😅
Sticky BBQ in Cavendish has a smaller menu compared to the one in Rondebosch. We ordered the ribs and Polly cheese steak. It was very unexpected that it was lamb/mutton ribs. Anyways, it is very flavourful and quite fatty which I'm fine with. The Philly cheese steak was very good, the beef was tender and it has carmalised onions and peppers to add more flavour. Overall, it's a thumbs up.
For a takeaway outlet, the food presentation and quality is excellent. Wings and burgers are amazing, love the onion rings. Definitely highly recommended.
Wings had a lovely basting sauce but not at all crispy as described. Would order these again.Burger had stacks of flavour but the patty was a little bit dry. Plenty of cheese. Would order this again if I was ravenous. Onion rings were crispy but again they were very oily with not much flavour. They definitely need to be seasoned more. Overall, some items I would have again.
One of the best burgers I have had next to woodies, was a pleasant surprise, burgers don't come with chip but onion rings instead, you have to buy chip separate, nice mix of burger selections
Took my girl on a date , we were very very hesitant at first but it turned out well we waited a bit to long but it was definitely worth it . The burger was nice and juicy i was stuffed , the wings weren't the best but it was okay , first time i had onion rings and it was nice , the fries had a very different taste to other places I've ever been at , it has a nice cheese and chives taste but overall the meal was nice
A few weeks ago I tried the chicken salad and was totally knocked out. For R60 you get a salad for at least two people but I enjoyed it so much I finished the whole salad by myself. I cant wait to try their menu again. Well done to Sticky BBQ Cavendish.
I am really a food critique 🤔and walking passed the food outlet, I thought get something like burger from burger King or steers but I am happy I didn't. This was a good experience. Great experience, good food, good presentation don't know we were luck but keep it up.
Reasonable waiting period of about 10min for 2 orders of burger and shake with wings. Buns are fresh and pattis freshly made. Could do with more seasoning or sauce
