Review Nitro House - Cape Town

Sat outside with a great view of table mountain and awesome food. Ended up chatting with the owners for a while, who offered my group some trip advice and a ride. Might be the nicest people I've met anywhere. Will definitely be back.

A Bree Street eatery that isn't "Bree Street" hipster trendoid (shudder) at all...they focus on doing coffee shop cuisine, coffee and Kombucha➡Japanese fermented flavoured green tea...sounds awful I know but very refreshing! 😎 Food is deffo delish..my fave is the Paprika Cream Chicken Pie lunch special...lip-smackingly good! The homemade honey-roasted Energy muesli deserves a mention here...and I despise "nuts & berries"-type malarkey. Also, you may be lucky enough for the barista to design a personalised "Coffee Art Spirit Animal" for you...mine was a bear...can't IMAGINE why...😂🌍💝 Sadly, smiles are mysteriously thin on the ground as a rule and WiFi can be spotty at best (had to duck outside to get cellular 4G coverage); but apart from that, I can wholeheartedly recommend this café, especially if you're looking for a quiet space to do some work sipping a latte on the pavement. 💝✔ DEF @jamescapetown fave! 😇🌍 DISCLOSURE! Service was good from the staff,love it ! But its a sad thing that you cant stay long enough to finish your work because the managing team will have to ask you to leave for them not to waste wifi,dont know about others but if l spend a bit to work then atleast l deserve better treatment than that

Great freshly baked sausage rolls. The waiter was exceptional. Coffee awesome. Difficult to fault this place.

Lovely Kombucha and iced coffee. Waited a bit long for the beverages and we were the only patrons but more than that I'd definitely come back for the excellent beverages.

Great value for money, ecspecially if Salmon Bagels are your thing, we also had great service, TK was very friendly.

A little hidden gem. Good coffee and nice atmosphere, the bookshelves in the corner makes this a very welcoming space.

So the opening times here are listed as 6:30am... they may be physically open, but hardly ready to serve. <br/><br/>Walked in around 6:35am. Staff were still setting up and putting out the tables and chairs. After sitting for about 10min, I got up to get menus for our table. Feeling bad, the waiter apologizes but continues to setup shop and not take our orders. Only around 6:55am are our orders taken. <br/><br/>Couldn’t order any of the baked goods like muffins or pastries, as they were yet to be made. I then settled for the breakfast wrap, and asked for the bacon to be replaced with beans. Unfortunately the beans had not yet been delivered, but they offered avo instead. <br/><br/>Around 7:10am our order arrived to our table. The wrap was ok... but not worth the wait. <br/><br/>After finishing up, I then got up to settle the bill at the counter, as staff were too busy setting up shop still to pay attention to us. <br/><br/>I likely will not return.

I’m sure by now you’ve all heard of Nitro Brew Products. But, if you haven’t, then I’d like to introduce you to both Nitro Brew Products and the spot they now call home: Nitro House on Bree Street. Nitro House recently opened its doors at 130 Bree Street. This is a small yet surprisingly spacious café serving a wide range of breakfast, lunch, and take-away goodies. And, of course, there is a focus on the Nitro Brew Products.

There is wifi is good for work and the staff is friendly. Could use more small meals to the menu for quick bites. Cosy place place in woodstock

A friend and I decided to try this place and while the service was excellent, the floors clearly hadn't been swept for the day before which couldn't pass for part of the aesthetic because the place is pretty trendy looking but the menu could have more depth. Just a little disappointed.
