So generally when one orders food on order in (or similar delivery service) I am always disappointed, because, the food is normally just chucked into a small container, almost never get the same portions as you would in the restaurant, but you pay the same price. I have never actually eaten at Dog’s Bollocks, but ordered online twice and both times the food was amazing, I am vegetarian and I love the fact that I can still enjoy most of their menu options with a vegan patty - a vegetarian burger that actually tastes like a burger - damn good! And the packaging is sure to put a smile on you face!! Best moerse burgers!
I finally tried the newish pizza menu on Sunday and it certainly lived up to all the hype! Brilliant authentic Neapolitan thin crust in the middle, puffy and crisp on the edges with a divine tomato base interspersed with truly delectable mozzarella. A few high quality toppings and served with olives, garlic, several chili varieties, fresh rocket and basil as standard extras, this is now my top Cape Town pizza.
The best coffee in town, hands-down. Yes, it's true. If you're a coffee fan, ignore the rest of my rambling and hop onto your Vespa now! It's most likely a mix of their beans, how they roast them and the well trained baristas. I've been a fan for years, buying their beans for home, but always ordering a freshly brewed flat white, because it's so darn delicious. Many of the staff are aloof and take some time to warm-up ... one or two of the "old guard" are friendlier. If only their approach would rub off on the others. If I were only grading the coffee and stark, timber and steel venue, I would give them 5 stars. Hipsters aplenty, which seems to go with the coffee scene ;-)
A darker grungier interior and bean roast than I’m partial to. But not bad. Coffee 7/10, dark roast and okay milk. Service happy and very laid back! A good spot to work or gather, or grab a quick cup!
Absolutely adore this coffee shop. It's vibey and fun. The staff make it their business to remember your favourites and I've only been there about five times and the last time I visited they started preparing my coffee as I arrived - that is great service!!

The nicest two young chaps served us. It was my first time and I was expecting something to eat to accompany my cappuccin, so I was a little disappointed that this is not part of the offering (but now I know). However, one of the baristas offered me his donut. How sweet (literally) was that? Super service, cappuccino was good, although it could have been a little hotter. Great first experience!

Great up beat vibes, Saturday morning 11am However the staff look not so cheery or perhaps just off having to work Saturday morning. No big deal but have experienced better vibes with most other baristas..
Coffee was average for me, weak taste almost too much milk, so little coffee taste.
Had a much better coffee and vibes at Oranjezicht stand. Could be just that they were all having an off day, it’s allowed ;)
