Coffee 4 - Deco 4 - Service 4 - Food (didn’t try)
Nice spot in Woodstock, they roast theyr own coffee. Is always a good experience for me to taste different blends. Really good coffee and friendly staff
One of the best coffee shops in the area. Friendly service every time and the lattes never disappoints! This shop taught me to appreciate a good daily cuppa!
The coolest coffee shop in the Foreshore/Woodstock, located right next to Corner Store.
The baristas are super friendly and engaging. I actually learnt a thing or two having a discussion with the one barista.
The cortado I ordered was excellently pulled. Slightly cold but it had the best mouthfeel and consistency.
Surprised that Flat Mountain doesn't have a higher rating.
These guys know coffee... I know a little, but these guys know tons. There is such a cool vibe in the shop and the decor is awesome. I love beautiful places, and can get lost in the atmosphere. If you're ever in the Woodstock area, I highly recommend a visit
I stopped here for a morning coffee, and what a great find. The decor is quirky and inviting, and the barista is super friendly.
I got a double shot flat white, it was creamy and tasty - the barista told me a few interesting things about the coffee, without preaching.
I only got a takeaway but next time I will be sure to stay and enjoy the space, especially because they open at 6am which is great for us earlybirds!
Great coffee in a cool building - Flatmountain ticks all the Capetonian boxes. I love that the owners are super involved in their brand, and make your coffee with care, however you like it. I had a single shot flat white (pretty much the maximum amount of caffeine my body can handle) and it was delicious, although next time I might live on the edge and try a double shot of decaf. It's definitely a great local hangout for coffee-lovers and a great #NewWeekNewSpot find!
I was standing two shops away from this place and the smell of roasted coffeebeans literally made me walk towards it. Small hidden gem that really made a great cup of coffee. Service was good and although i had a quick take away i would go back with a friend for a quick catch up. The woodwork in this place made me so happy.
Flat Mountain is a definite must visit in Woodstock. Their roasted beans are some of the best quality I have had in Cape Town and their shop, with a distinct street cafe vibe is awesome to sit at and soak up the atmosphere.
A wonderful little coffee shop in the heart of Woodstock with great food and even better coffee. The flat white is my favourite and we took some Ethiopian Sidamo beans home to prolong the experience.
One of the best, if not the best, coffee spots in Cape Town. The coffee there is great and the guys who run the place are true legends. They're always ready to serve you with a smile and they're always keen on a having a chat. Definitely a place to visit!
Rated 5 stars 5 years ago for the great coffee. Visited again today and I'm amazed with what they've done with the space. Coffee shop straight out of your colleague's zoom background.
Coffee 9/10, beans slightly darker roasted than I like, ambiance perfect, service delightful, bagel - in my belly!!
Flatmountain is well lit with fast WiFi and a simple aesthetic. A more traditional shot pull is a nice touch. You can watch coffee roasting in the back and chill with the plants and sunlight up front. Tasty iced coffee, but sadly no creme (milk only).
My wife brought me some of the heritage blend beans back to the UK and they are phenomenal, glad she got the 1KG bag as I'm going to miss these when they are gone.
Great spot. Team are awesome. Coffee is yummy. Wi-Fi is great. Toilets not so awesome. Not kid friendly.
Great place to enjoy your coffee while working.
amazing food and nice coffee..
They sell one of the best chai latte.
One of my favorite haunts in Woodstock. The coffee is fantastic and roasted on the premises. I love the high seats near the window where one can do people watching and admire the buzz of Sir Lowry Road. It is tastefully decorated and the baristas have only been kind to me. It is across the street from the Stevenson and Goodman galleries and the smac gallery is also close. Great place to stop after you did the art routes.
Our local; most authentic coffee space and premium coffee. Good, simple food options as well.
Today I was definitely amazed at just how good the service, product delivery and detail customer overall delivery was. My order was taken to the tee. It's a cup of coffee that took me back to very special mawwemory. The Baristas are genuine legends and I would go as far as to say that that's one of the best coffee shops in Cape Town's Woodstock area. If you trust the coffee scout for the best coffee recommendations around, pay them a visit and you won't go wrong.
One of my favourite coffee shops in Cape Town. I’ve never been let down by them!
