Our waiter Kelvin was charming and within minutes of arriving our bottle of chilled Sauvignon Blanc was served and our orders taken. Both starters were fantastic and we both had the steak as a main which was very tender and cooked just as we wanted it. The dessert was just as good. The restaurant is an amazing conversion of an old Cape townhouse and the old black and photographs on the walls are worth a visit just on their own. A very pleasant experience eating off the Specials Menu for R195 each for 3 courses and the bill including tip was R620 for an excellent and oft to be repeated experience. A lovely lunch and thanks to our waiter Kelvin....

Kloof Street House is eccentric and incentive in style and taste! We were recommended this by our airbnb host and wnded up coming back the next night! You feel like you're in a museum, with endless decorative details to study inside and outside. An upscale yet quirky dinner spot for many occasions. Highly recommend!

Amazing service! Bent the frame when I accidentally sat down on my glasses at table mountain. They popped the lense back in and wouldn’t let me pay them for the service. Too kind. Gets us back to USA with 20/20 vision. Much obliged!

I recently walked into this particular branch to inquire about a promotion they have running at the moment. What a really great experience! Not only were the ladies there warm and friendly....they were very knowledgeable and made sure that i was absolutely comfortable with my lens as well as my choice of frame. Even though they have a 2 week turnaround on specs, I requested to have mine done faster as I was leaving for a trip. They were extremely accommodating in rushing my order and I was so relieved to get my specs back 3 days before I expected it. Will always return to this branch.
