Excellent concept. Upscale dining room by day, pizza speakeasy by night! We were impressed with the authenticity of the thin crust pizzas at Hail. Toppings fresh and generously sized. You'll need a large to feel satisfied. Very good service, one not to miss in Cape Town!
Excellent pizza place! And good service. The first time, our pizzas took a little longer than we expected, so the waitress took our drinks off the bill. And made us so happy. I have been back three times and I will definitely go again!
I recently had my birthday dinner at Hail and it was great! Great venue and ambience and the pizza's were delicious. The only thing that was a bit of a dampener was that they only allowed me to bring in 2 bottles of bubbly for 20 people even though I was perfectly happy to pay the corkage fee of R50
The rumours are true, this is the best pizza in Cape town. Great base and the are not stindgy with the toppings. The entrance to hail pizza is quite confusing. You can get in through Clark's which is next door, or down an alleyway with large wooden doors at the end. Just a heads up, we had booked a
A recommendation from a local who loves this place. We were excited to try some amazing Cape Town pizza. Sadly a neighbor might have had a late night misunderstanding with the restaurant's chimney. So while we didn't have pizza, we had a delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup along with some excel
I've had a fair few of their pizzas, decided to try their vegan option recently because why not. I have to admit, it was fantastic! I'm not vegan by any means, but I would gladly order that again. Great place, great staff, looking forward to my next visit.
The food is incredible and you canโ€™t really beat bottomless mimosas for R150. The service was a bit slow and inattentive at first but once our whole group arrived to the table our waitress did a great job with making sure our orders were taken and our drinks were topped off. Highly recommend for bru

The mozzarella, tomato and basil is perfectly balanced to create a distinctly comforting and invigorating flavor. Their simplicity belies their extr
The pizza is delicious- wood fire oven, fresh toppings. They are thin and a little small- if you have big appetite grab an app. Great staff overall as well!
Fantastic service, Good food and Cosy environment, Only issues were the hard seating and the garlic running out after food was served. But understandable as it was freshly prepped and not store bought tub. Would definitely go back.
Pizzas taste really really good, also had the fennel salad which was delicious. Prices for food are pretty high tho. Great atmosphere, good service.
