First time here but am definitely coming back again and again. Beautiful view and lovely service. Marlon, our waiter was superb and very engaging. Music was awesome and so was the pizza.

Lazy Saturday evening and in no mood to whip something up. So I decided to order a good ol’ burger and fries from Carlyle’s.

Burger was actually very yum. Seasoned well, but perhaps a tad overdone ito my preference for a more medium done burger. Not a fan of shoestring fries, but it too was seasoned really nicely. Overly a solid burger and chips.

Cosy place with really good and friendly service. The blue cheese focaccia is yum! We had the creamy chicken pasta and the rump pasta - both were sizeable and delicious.

Got takeaways - the pizza was nice. Thin base. Fresh, quality ingredients. Tasty pizza! The pasta was ok. A bit bland for my liking (but overall it wasn't bad). With some garlic, fresh chili and Parmesan cheese the pasta would've been much more enjoyable. Would definitely have pizza again and consider giving the pasta another try (I would like to try the Italian sausage spaghetti next time).

Definitely one of the best pizza joints around! Their lamb calzone is out of this world and their ribs are insane! Such a wide variety of options to choose from that it keeps us going back for more. Side note: ask for Vanessa, she'll keep you entertained for hours!

Great food - so many delicious Italian styled, flavoursome options.There is a restaurant and bar under the same roof - so there is a quieter dining on one side and more noisy bar chatter and music on the other.
The staff seem rushed and overwhelmed.

Carlyles hands down is one of the best pizza spots in Cape Town. Their pizza bases are thin and perfectly crispy and ingredients are always fresh. I had the most delicious pizza and pasta take away, the only reason why I have not given them 5/5 would is due to the food getting to us cold.

Went to a CD launch and we had dinner in the non smoking area downstairs beforehand. When making the booking there seemed to be a lot of confusion about what exactly was happening. I liked their menu and the food was good, they have quite a few low carb options. The service lacked a bit but the waiter was new and management did make up for it so not really any complaints there. Will go back should they have events, it gets quite lively, but probably not just for dinner.

Used to often get delivery pizza's from here when visiting friends in the area, but hadnt done so in a while after we went through a Thai food obsession. What an amazing surprise to discover a new take away menu and pizza's seeming to be even better! Most delicious pasta and pizza... DELICIOUS. No more thai in our near future:)
