Celebrated my birthday here in Oct. Super accommodating and helpful staff followed by great beer, wine and food to top it all off! Would highly recommend to anyone planning a birthday party, seeking a good spot to watch the rugby or in the mood for a damn good burger!

Came for the cheeseburger and 500ml draft special which is one of my favourite! Great selection of beers on tap and the cheeseburger is honestly melt in your mouth! Really juicy burger patty and thin well seasoned crispy fries. Will keep coming back Taproom 😊🍟🍔

Im at the taproom all the time as it’s in a super central location for most offices. We come through for quiz night every second Wednesday which I always a lot of fun. I am addicted to the chargrilled broccoli of all things, it’s absolutely delicious. I also love the nachos and really enjoyed the chicken burger. There’s also a half price drinks special most evenings. The service is always great and the food comes quickly. Overall an excellent place.

The burgers that we had were flavorful and very filling. The patties were well-sized and not too over-done. Had the bacon and blue cheese burger, which was served with a pale ale (part of the special)...would highly recommend it
The Taproom serves the most delicious burgers I’ve tasted to date, and boy have I eaten some mouthwatering burgers in my life! Their beers go really well with pretty everything they serve. Impress your date, bring them here. Preferably on a Tuesday. You can thank me later.
Great vibe, great service, great food. What more could you ask for. We had taccos, the lamb and choriso burgers. All highly recommended. Selection of craft beers complimented the experience. We will be back.
Great views of Table mountain, ice cold beers and very tasty bar snacks all make for a very pleasant experience.
The tacos and nachos are incredible, as well as the truffle fries. Unfortunately they have problems with their sweet potato fries as it was incredibly oily and limp and somehow over- and undercooked at the same time. The manager was quite underwhelming in her response to our complaints, but our waiter managed to save the day.
All in all a very pleasant experience. Will definitely come try one of their quiz nights too!

Their Tuesday specials are a must! We had cheese burgers and either a beer or a cider for R75. The burger was so delicious! It was tender and flavorful and the bun was so fresh. It took all of us by surprise as we expected the drinks to be the stars of the show. The cider was also very good and their beers are quite light. I’d definitely recommend coming here! They also have craft beer tasting. All in all, this special was definitely good value for money
Woodstock be all fancy ya’ll!! Minus the weird staircase, I love the interior decor of this place. It’s so fitting, so trendy, so hipster, so New York ...so gentrified!
Obviously we came for craft beer. We weren’t here for the food. All we wanted to do was sit on the deck, people watch, with a beer in one hand and a bar snack in the other. So we ordered the sriracha deep fried chicken wings, truffle fries and deep fried battered onion rings to share. Beautifully plated and super yummy, we were somewhat sad that we were not hungry enough for a main. All the more reason to return!
Oh and the craft beer was really good too - both the IPA (bitter and crisp) and the pale ale (refreshing and easy drinking).
Service is good too. Fast and attentive. But reminds me more of an upscale place than a casual drinking spot.

Really loved chilled atmosphere. Great veggie burger and sweet potatoe chips! The side dishes (eg cauliflower gratin) are very generous portion wise. Could almost be a whole meal...!
