The Royal Oak Pub And Restaurant - Cape Town Central - Photo album

I’ve not been here since 2010 or thereabouts, and believe this is a rebuild after a fire, or something. It looks pretty much the same save for the glass cubicle for smokers. Same grey heads and bald pates so I fit right in. Gentle, convivial atmosphere with muffled conversation and occasional guffaw
Glad to see the friendly vibe & the regulars back at the Royal Oak since the new owners rescued it & have revamped the place from top to bottom. Now a pleasure to enter with a clean, airy feel & no more sticky carpets. All new toilets are sparkling clean. Also the new solid oak bar looks fantastic.
Felt as if was back home in the UK! JUST a shame you are so far away from us. Could easily be our local. Food was amazing! And loved the Guinness on Tap! We will definitely be back
Me and brother-in-law called for a wet as one does. Had a couple of hours chewing over the world's problems. A good local pub .Can't coment on the food but the prices seemed to be good value.
A lovely pub in the heart of Blouberg. The patrons all very friendly and welcoming of non locals visiting their favorite spot.

Fantastic service, awesome food and their prices are the best. I am so impressed with their food. We had a platter of 4: chicken strips, fried fish, battered and fried pork sausages and crumbed mushrooms. Everything was amazing and the dips which were mayo and pepper sauce was really fantastic.
